Interested in family tree names: Baskervill, Baskerville, Coleman, Rolfe, Maglenn, Parker, Robbins, Miller, Thompson, Taber, Patch, Mildrum, Jiggetts, Eaton, Murray, Embry, Leckie, Minge and Bolling. I have a lot of family papers and books, passed down, on my mother's side, that has helped to connect the dots. My father's side was a mystery for sometime.|

Melody, I apologize for the delay in responding to yours of 1/17/2013 but have been away from F.A.G. until now, and hoping to resume work here, including the infor you sent. Cousin Dave Boatman, of Ft. Worth , TX, died a month ago and I am going to try to access his F.A.G. file, with his son's ok, if I can figure how to do it! All the best,

This is a good photo. Good to have a record of a tombstone this old. Did you happen to get any additional photos of other headstones from Lombardy Grove?
|Anna S||John and Sue Robbins|
Hi - I added the photos of these two Robbins (will get a better one of Sue Robbins' stone later). Your note asked whether there are other Robbins in the area; I haven't seen any. It's a large cemetery, though, and I'll keep looking. - Anna S

Hi, I believe you are a 3rd cousin to me. Edgar is also my great uncle. I have a lot of Baskerville letters/history/documents, including some pictures of Buena Vista. I visited Eureka in Boydton in the 90's (it has be beautifully restored) and I have many pictures in and out of the house. In that trip, I saw my great grandfather's painting hanging in the town hall of Boydton. Edgar wrote an extensive history of the family, which I have, and you may have as well. I have tried to email you but perhaps my email didn't make it. I will try and email again. I am from Charlotte.

You are very welcome.
Happy to assist.
Cheers from Washington State!

Is your friend Dawn Taylor by chance?? If so, I know Dawn, I met her last Summer. She allowed me to hold and photograph the wooden headstone of My 4th Great Grandfather Little Joshua Gray. You probably know the story behind that headstone (made from ship timbers) that was found in an attic up in Massachusetts after it had been missing from the Gray family cemetery. I will go back to see if I can find the Taylor grave for you.

You're welcome! The graveyard is only a short distance from my house. Took a while to find it. but I could make out the Death date of 1880 and the last three letters LER in the last name so Voila! there he was. By the way, I have lots of family buried on Hatteras. I'm related to the Grays, O'neals,and Burrus families.
I posted a photo for Nancy Mayhew today. Also, photos for Marvin, Patricia, Espey and Sara Mayhew Sellers.

Hello- Thanks for writing! I think I found the entry which you wanted me to add the Graham/Baskerville parents to, so I did that today. This was Alice Sturdivant Graham Bedinger of Mt Hope Cem., in SC. Thanks for creating the new entries for her parents and adding those lovely photos!
