Wow. That was quite the letter! Thank you for sharing it. In addition to its genealogical value, it also conveys quite a lot about the times.
I will add a note to the great-granddaughter's papers with Rolland's name and the other information that you have shared on F/G. Although he obviously lived to adulthood, I can only guess that he was not mentioned by name because he died relatively young.

Thanks for this info, I will try to contact the museum, maybe I can get copies also. I do have some info on Ed and on his family and yes he is buried in Osgood, Indiana with his parents, although there is a memorial stating that he is buried in Caldwell, Ks. There is also another one that I found for Fannie with an unknown burial. The numbers for those memorials if you want to look are 59711291 & 59711331. Now you can see why I am so confused on Fannie. It seems the more I research the more different answers (and questions) I get. If you will email me at firstname.lastname@example.org I will be happy to share with you what I have. Thanks again for your help.
