Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am a 41 Year ago father of three that has always been interested in history. I got interested in Genealogy about a 8 years ago and have spent over thousands hours working on my family tree. Photography is also a passion in my life and I believe that a family history is not complete without as much photo evidence that can be found and I am trying to photograph as many small graveyards and cemeteries as I can.

Grandparents
I was happy to transfer your grandfather's memorial. I did not create your grandmother's memorial you also requested. You will need to contact the creator of that memorial and request a transfer of him.

Beebe
Hello there
Algy Beebe The missing link!! He is my second cousin. He was one of 4 children. I dont have any info on a wife or children mainly bc I assume they are still alive??
I have the Beebe side from Lyman Beebe (sr) forward with missing information on living Beebe descendent's. Im not sure what you may already have but I do have the following.
Algy is son of Percy L Beebe (1895 - 1931) While working on Fred Moyers farm, he got into a fight with brother Fred Beebe & Elemere Lamphere. The fight ended in his death. It was quite the scandal and Fred & Elemere were held in jail for some time until the corner ruled the fight provoked by Percy due to drunkenness. So Fred & Elemere were set free, but no the less Percy had died. his brothers Fred & Earl are also not far from the other Beebe Graves.
Percy who is son of Lemuel M Beebe (1857 - 1932)is my 2nd great grand uncle (had 8 children) He died at daughter Ellas house in 1932. I dont know if she ever married after that. But at his death she was still unmarried. Percey is also in Springfield ceme.
Lemuel is the oldest son of Lyman Beebe Sr. there were 9 children, I have pictures of 3 of them Oliver, Genet & Victor (who is my 2nd great grandfather).
I dont have a picture of Lyman Sr, but I do have a painting of the Beebe estate prior to it be torn down. Not much is know about Lyman Sr's parents except they were both born in VT. I have it narrowed down to 2 possible Beebe family's but no proof...YET!
Any info you have please to pass on. Im pretty sure we have spoke on Ancestry. And that is where I have more pics posted if you would like them or I can email as well.

RE: John I Brookman

John I. Brookman was born in Minden, Montgomery, New York on August 31, 1818. He received a district school education and also spent one term at the Cherry Valley Academy. He was brought up on a farm, but at age 18 commenced teaching school, which occupation he followed for seven years, having schools in Minden, St. Johnsville, and in Herkimer County. He served as St. Johnsville Principal. He learned the trade of carpenter, which he followed in the summer and taught school in the winter. He served as Town Superintendent of Schools, Commissioner of Schools, and Supervisor. He bought a 76 acre farm in 1862, which increased to 200 acres. From obituary in Fort Plain Standard, April 13, 1893.

John, son of John I. Brookman and Mary Dillenbeck, married Anna Lintner. They were the parents of at least 7 children:
Reuben A. (1844), Martha (1847), Marvin (1847), Alice (1848), George W. (1853), Edgar (1855) and Edwin (1855).
They are listed on the 1850-1880 Minden Montgomery County, New York censuses.

(I am not related to this family, I transcribed the records from the actual burial records for Find A Grave).

Yes, If you could take photos of the other individuals that he is buried with that would be appreciated. I am looking actually for his second wife, Marjorie Andrews. I believe that he was her only husband.. Although I have no proof of that... if you see any Andrews while you're walking around I would be interested to see those too. I really appreciate you taking the time to do this for me. Thank you again.
