You asked about the earliest records for NDDL.
I just completed another Notre Dame rectory visit to obtain records on St Mary's Visitation cemetery. The earliest discovered death/burial record was 1888 for St Mary's Cemetery and 1889 for Notre Dame Cemetery.
NDDL celebrated a 100 year anniversary in 1989.
The church is now "Notre Dame Visitation Catholic Church."
Log Book inLatin: Bapt,Marg/Death: May 1889 to 1930
Bapt in Latin & French: 1889 to 1925
Marriages Old: 1908-1923
Marriage Register: Mar 1907 - 2015 [active]
Cemetery: 1957 - 2015 [active]
Deaths & Burials: 1908 - 1930, no index to use must know appx date.
Death Register: 1920-2015 [active]
St Mary's: work in progress, uncatalogued.
