Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have access to many cemeteries in this area.. I am willing to find graves for people that ask for photos..Most cemeteries in this area are on private property..They are not easy to find and sometimes very dangerous.. Poison Ivy, snakes and swamplands.. Bear with me when you send requests. I do my best to get permission to look up gravesites..I do not try to disrespect anyones' family..I do this to respect and remember our Ancestors..When creating Memorials please try and add as much information as possible.. When I do find a gravesite I usually can't add anything to them.. persons should follow up on the Memorials that they create..

John Weaver
Edmund,
Cannot thank you enough for getting out there and locating & photographing the gravestone for John Weaver, Lansingburgh Cemetery! Thrilled to see this WEAVER gravestone....clearly you have found a "new" Weaver in this cemetery? The dates on the stone indicate that he was earlier generation John Weaver than the one in my fulfilled photo request. I will see what additional information I can find on this "new" John Weaver. I have created a new memorial page for Revolutionary War John Weaver and submitted a new photo request. Please remove the photo from the John Weaver, born 1795 memorial and submit the photo to the new request for Revolutionary War John Weaver, born 1750?
Thank you so very much, this is wonderful!

RE: Schermerhorn Cemetery in Brunswick, NY.
That's Great Edmund, I hope the property owner will respond and let you at least view the markers. It will be interesting to see if any Schermerhorn graves markers have survived.

Thanks for the update!

RE: Schermerhorn Cemetery in Brunswick, NY.
Hello Edmund

I would love to get any photo's if there are any of the Schermerhorn's left. My Grandfather was a Schermerhorn and these are all his family. This information came from this webroots.

http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~nyrensse/bruncem.htm and in doing research I found that these Schermerhorn's were buried there.

So I'm not sure exactly where it is, as I live in Oregon and have been doing genealogy about 35 years. I tried looking on a Google maps but to no avail, I live on the Oregon Coast so it's not very likely I'll ever get there. I hope this information helps you find it... that would be wonderful. But it could be that the cemetery is long gone and forgotten by now.

Wanda
