I was born and raised in Providence, Rhode Island, which, as a Captain of mine used to joke, is the only "island" surrounded by land on three sides.
After nearly 11 years in the military, my wife and I settled in Moberly, Missouri where I worked at the Moberly Correctional Center for just shy of 14 years.
I now work as an investigator for the Department of Corrections within the Missouri Information Analysis Center in Jefferson City. I think of it as the Missouri version of the CIA. | |

 | W.G. Higdon Sorry Arthur I just looked at the stone. Buried with his wife. Did not remember it. Keep up the good work. Sincerely, Eli | | | Eli Chandler
 | Walker Garner Higdon 1898-1948 Hi Arthur, I am a close relative of W.G. Higdon and saw that you have him in the Roanoke Cem. but there is no picture of his gravestone! Do you know if there is one there? Is he on the records for having been buried there? I don`t recall seeing one but don`t know for sure. He was a WW 1 Navy veteran and if he does not have a marker I want to order one for him. Thanks! Eli Chandler | | | Mindy

Myrtle A Sumpter Whitaker Mindy You sent me a message about additions to Find A Grave Memorial# 71048089, which is Myrtle. If she is a family member, let me know and I will gladly transfer. I, like you, work in my local area to help others find their family and love when I find a family member to do their ancestor honor.

 | Fearis William Stephens It has been pointed out to me that this memorial is a duplicate of another in Oakland Cemetery. The other memorial is older and is linked. Since the person who entered the memorial must be the one to delete it, I ask that you do this. Thanks ever so much. These things happen! Annie Jaech | | | Rick OB

 | Grand Prairie Hi Arthur, I wanted to let you know that I have just now finished updating everyone in Grand Prairie with photos and links wherever I was able to. There are several of your duplicates that do not have the exact name, but if you look at others with the same surname and compare dates, you will see they are duplicates. I have added photos for every stone I found, not just the ones I created memorials for, so if there is not a picture, there is a good chance it is a duplicate. I'm sorry it took me such a long time to get everyone updated, but maybe now we can get all the duplicates deleted. Thanks for your patience.
I noticed that many of the Grand Prairie burials also have duplicates, but in Oakland Cem in Moberly. Was a spreadsheet maybe submitted to the wrong cemetery?
Thanks again, Nancy | | | Nancy Meadows
 | Grand Prairie Cemetery Hi Arthur, I am slowly making my way through Grand Prairie, trying to add photos and get links made wherever I can. As I said before, I have family info on most of the burials in this cemetery, and want to keep the memorials I added until I get them updated. I've been working on this for two days straight now, and have only made it through the Bradleys, so it will take awhile yet. I appreciate your wanting to have duplicates deleted, and if you are wanting credit for them, I'll transfer any duplicates you created of mine after I get mine updated. Thanks, Nancy | | | Judy Wendt
 | memorials Thanks for adding the obituary. I am not a relative. I noticed that Walnut Grove is a large cemetery and needs to be photographed. So Dave and I use this as exercise. We decided to do all the graves with names beginning with "A". Then we will move on to "B". A lot of walking. Some of the graves are so old you can't read a letter. I feel we have to hurry before they are completely unreadable and while I am healthy enough to do this. It's the one thing I can do to make sure they are remembered. Where are you located? We live in Prairie Home, Missouri... Judy Wendt | | | Treva Poe
