Bio Photo I've been tracing my own genealogy since 2004, but have always found walking around old cemeteries interesting.

I would be happy to transfer management of any memorials that are your family members. (There are only a handful that are actually my family, and those I would keep.)

RE: Arnold Rader - FAG
Have a great and Happy New Year. If you have easy access to John Arnold Rader's grave, you can get rid of that worn out sign.. I'll make a new one this Spring.

Thank you for posting on his grave as I think the ONLY two people who care about him are me (great grandson) and my daughter Brooke (great great granddaughter). We usually get down there about two time a year (It is about an 1 1/2 drive), but have been busy on the last couple of Memorial Days.

My older brothers have NO idea where his grave is and could care less.

Dear Peg.

Yes, my sign to my great grandfather Arnold Rader, Company C- 46th Illinois Vol. Infantry is is VERY bad shape. As soon as Spring comes I will make a new one and remove that old, unreadable one. I live in Wisconsin and do not get down to his grave as often as I would like.

Peg, thanks so much for your message. I sent you an email a few days ago (if you didn't get it and/or it's not in your SPAM folder) please let me know. I don't have much info on my Brand family, but I look forward to trading family info with you.

Dear Peg, could you remove the photo you placed on my great grandfather's grave, Arnold Rader (Irish Grove Catholic Cemetery) Davis, Illinois. I have added Newer and nicer photographs to his Find A Grave Memorial.

Thank you

It's from Cincinnati Sonst und Jetzt, a collection of biographies of the early German Buergers of Cincinnati.

I know that my Brand family was from Bavaria and were Catholic. Were your Brands Catholic, too? If so, maybe there is a link!

Hi Peg

I'm not related to them, but I found them as I was walking through St. John's. I do have Brand family members, but this Brand family is not mine as far as I can tell. If you'd like, I can transfer management of their page to you.

Hi Peg ~ It's entirely possible that it says Olive; I entered the memorials off of someone else's transcriptions that I found online. Another contributor can claim responsibility for the great photos; she does a wonderful job.

I know what you mean about trying to find anything in their records; sadly, I can't even complain because my Something-great-grandfather was the original sexton of that cemetery, so I'm sure a lot of the errors were his.

I made the corrections then transferred the memorials over to your care. I love when family finds them. Take care. Robin
