I'm a genealogy addict who is researching my family lines of Alexander, Barnett, Beard, Boyd, Dunaway, McBrier, Mullins, Newman, O'Neal, Pevey, Sauls, Sistrunk, Tynes, Wallace, and Womack.|
Many of the memorials that I have created or maintain are my ancestors, family members, or friends.
If you wish to request a transfer of a memorial, please follow the Find A Grave guidelines.
As I am human and do make mistakes, please feel free to email me with any corrections. My goal is to serve future generations by passing on accurate information.
My sincerest appreciation to those who have created memorials and taken pictures for my family members. I pray God's blessings on you.
Do not stand by my grave and weep,
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am diamonds that glint on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning hush,
I am the swift rush of butterflies in joyous flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand by my grave and cry.
I am not there. I did not die.

If you have her death certificate can you please send it to me not only for our family records but for all the other compilers I am working with to help us correct our data. Would this be possible, Any? Sincerely, Freddie

You are very welcome. I have traveled the highway this cemetery is located thousands of times and this was the first time I have seen the cemetery. It is a small plot of land located on top of a mound surrounded by trees. Very peaceful and looking at the dates on the graves, it was a step back in time.
Do you know if there is a relationship between the Womacks and the Hunstocks? There were many of their graves compared to the Womacks, but the cemetery is named after the Womacks. Down the road a bit is a road named Hunstock Rd. Has to be a connection there.

Thank you for link, I am still trying to locate obit.
Amy, I am the gggrandaughter of James McBrier. His daughter, Mary Elizabeth McBrier, married my ggrandfather, Moses Kemp, in Claiborne County. I have a picture of Mary McBrier. Her nephew, Willie Clay McBrier, was the son of Evan Shelby Jefferies McBrier. There is a living McBrier descendant in Baton Rouge, La. I am hoping to visit the Sarepta Cemetery to photograph the McBrier graves.

Can you tell me who her husband is?
Hello, Amy! Jonathan and Elizabeth Dennis Dunaway were my 5th great grandparents. My grandmother, Vera, is the daughter of Hollis, who was the son of Jodie Wilson, who was the son of Andrew Pinkney, who was the son of George Dunaway, who in turn was the son of Jonathan. How confusing is that? Ha! I am searching for the parents of Jonathan Dunaway and was wandering if you have any ideas?

Amy, I saw on Nancy Eliza Wilkes Mullins Carney that she was your 3rd great grandmother. If you will go to her page, and click on her father, Abner Wilkes, you will see that Abner had a son, Stephen Hitchcock Wilkes. Stephen was a sister to Nancy Eliza Wilkes. I am descended from Stephen Hitchcock Wilkes through his daughter, Martha Jane Wilkes Berry. I have done a lot of work on this Wilkes Family. Ann

Amy, I just learned through my research that we are distantly related through the Wilkes Family. Confirms what I have known all along that everyone from that area of Mississippi is related in some way. Ann
