|J. Michael Hope||Whitmer-Grundy-Gross|
I took the picture in the Whitmer Grundy Gross Cemetery. My Grandmother always referred to it as Whitmer, cause it was on Whitmer land and the first buried their was a Whitmer Child, Jacob in July 1812.
The Muhlenberg County Kentucky Cemeteries book Vol 4 by Marian G. Hammers in 1980 ref to the cemetery as Gross. Hope this helps..

Shirley, the Cemetery has several names. Some call it Gross, Grundy or Whitmer. The first Whitmers to ever come to this area are buried there.
