|Born: 1953 |
Husband: William Oscar Taylor Jr.
My husband and I were raised in Sylvania, Screven County, Georgia. We moved to Savannah, Georgia in 1972 due to my husband's job. We raised three children in Chatham County, Georgia and have six grand children.
I am researching all branches of my family tree and my husband's tree. There is quite a lot of branches to research primarily in Georgia. Some of the branches include:
Beard, Bazemore, Lariscy, Fries, Bragg, Counts, Edenfield, Taylor, Jenkins, Cuthbert
We often visit many of cemeteries in Screven County and surrounding counties. They are always a quite and peaceful places to visit.

Jessie, I saw that you posted flowers on the memorial for Warren Kelly Winskey. Did you know him? He was my dad's brother and I have been trying to find some relatives. My dad was Gordon Winskey and was born in Sylvania. The Winskey family plot is in cemetery in Screven County.
I don't have the information you're looking for, but John A. Edenfield is my great great grandfather. So we share a chromosome or two!
Ms. Taylor, my records show that John Edenfield, 1829/30-1893 was brother to William, and son to Hiram and Mary Nix Edenfield. I am so happy to find someone who is also searching Edenfields, I am looking for William and John's brother James, I believe he is my Third great grandfather, but am unable to prove it. Do you have any info on him? he was born in Barnwell Sc, 1825, death unknown, family history has it that he was married to Mary Hammons/Hammonds circa 1850, and they had at least two children together, William was the oldest and is my second great grandfather. I am sorry, I digress, do you have any info on him?
thank you so much,

Thank you. Sometimes people post things even though they are not related and it can cause some confusion for families who are doing genealogy research. It was nice of you to do so. Thank you. Lucinda Anne Kirk Taylor was the 2nd wife of my great great grandfather Israel G. Taylor, and that is why I asked as, he had a son with his first wife that we have not been able to locate as well as he and his sister lived with someone while Israel went to fight during the Civil War and I am looking for that part of the family. Thanks again for your reply

Hey Jessie, I sent you an EDIT a couple of weeks ago giving the Death information on John C. Burns, please Accept when you get a chance. For your verification, I also sent the Death information to you through the Other Edit key. Thanks,
|Catherine Carter||Mary Ann Taylor Bragg|
On Mary's page you have her father listed as:
William Aaren Taylor 1797–1922. Can you please confirm the death date maybe it's 18__?
I'm the granddaughter of Fred Mark Parker, Jr. I've been researching my family tree over the last few years, and the info you have provided on the Taylor/Parker families have been a huge help to me! Thank you for all your hard work!
I'm trying to figure out exactly how we are related. Your husband is a Taylor? Who are his grandparents/ parents?
|Catherine Carter||Henry Mims Jackson (1813-1900)|
Hi Jesse, Trying to get some facts straight in my head. Henry would be the brother of Joel T Jackson (1811-1897). I see parents listed as John W Jackson and Sarah Elizabeth (Eliza) Hurst. However they were not married until 1829. Perhaps John was married before "Eliza"? Hmm?
