J George Huffman
There is near Millersville, Ohio a Germany settlement composed mostly of industrious, hard working people, whose labor has assisted materially in the economic development of the township. A representative family of this class are the Hoffman's. In those days Sandusky county was a wilderness, in which plenty of deer and Indians could be found, but they left this section shortly after. Fremont went by the name of Lower Sandusky in those days, and there was only one brick house in the town when the Hoffman family came here.

On J. George memorial, please put the sources where you got your information on his children and siblings. My name should be on his memorial page and his story. This is under copy rights.

Old & New Weston
Thank you for your work on these two cemeteries. There does appear to be A LOT of confusion! Have you seen the Wood County, Ohio Genealogical Society website? They have photographed all the standing headstones in 46 of the county cemeteries including Old Weston and New Weston (which they designate simply as "Weston"). It is possible to search by name, and if the individual has a head stone, this is a good way to confirm the correct cemetery.

I looked up Cloyce and Geneva Hinesman and found them in "Weston," which confirms the edit that you sent me. Thanks so much!

Madge Shepard Old vs New Weston Cemetery
Thanks for the suggestion. I had it confirmed that Madge & the rest of my family members are indeed in New Weston Cemetery. They are now changed.

I hope those memorials that someone else posted will be changed after receiving my suggestion.

Blessings,
Linda

Madge Shepard Old vs New Weston Cemetery
I received your suggestion. Before I change it, I need to contact the cemetery sexton, as I have a total of 8 family members listed in the Old Weston Cemetery. Maybe they are all in the New Weston.

By any chance would you have a phone number for Old & New Weston Cemetery?

Blessings,
Linda
