Adding folks and photographs to Find A Grave is an excellent addition to genealogical research which my husband and I have been doing for 45 years. Our current goal is to enter all the cemeteries of our township in southern Maine which consists of three large public cemeteries and 187 small private ones. These private grave sites can be very challenging as they are found along the country roads, out in the fields and off into the woods. You have to watch for rocks and rugged terrain, wild critters, ticks and, worst of all, poison ivy. But still, it is great fun and hopefully we are finding something invaluable to the descendants and reseachers looking for their families.|

Hello again Lois,
Thank you for your generosity in transferring:
Mary Ann Sanborn Fernald # 113948461
to my care.
With your help, I have successfully connected her with her parents, one sister, husband and three children. As I receive more information, I will be adding it to Our shared memorial.
With sincerest appreciation,
|Photag||Henry H. Boody|
I hope the newspaper items for Henry H. Boody are welcome. I apologize that they come first in the order of photos. That was not my intention. Perhaps you are able to change the order to your liking (or remove the clippings if you wish). I offered a date correction as well. As your photograph of the monument shows, he died in 1853, not 1858. Thank you for posting the grave. It proved useful to my research.

Lois I am writing to you to express my concern for your allowing a Connie Stringer to put a picture and information on the Find A Grave link which is not correct. She gives the wrong date and place of birth for Catherine's mother and the picture of Catherine is one I own and have not given her permission to use. My son and I are the last living links to this family and we are not happy with Ms. Stringers actions anything you can do about it would be greatly appreciated.

Lois: in looking at the photo on Jonas' grave marker, the date of death is Jan 5, 1865 - 46 yrs, 4 mo = 5 Sep 1818. This photo belongs on his son Joseph - who was born 5 Sep 1818 and died Jan 5, 1865. However the son's name must have been Jonas, Jr and NOT Joseph. Please move the photo to his son Joseph/Jonas #121955204. Thank you!

Thank you sooo much for the great picture of Paul's marker. I see two other Turnbull's listed in that cemetery. If you get time could you get those as well?
|Ralph Gowen||Oakdale Pictures|
thank you for all of the pictures from Oakdale!

Thank you so much for photographing Henry Wheeler's grave stone. Henry is my first cousin 9x removed.

Thanks Lois! You have done an amazing job documenting and photographing Union Cemetery. I'm volunteering at the Portsmouth Public Library in the special collections room. Using cemetery documentation there, I may be sending some edits/updates your way.
Thank you! June
