Inventorying local cemeteries is an off shot of my own personal genealogy research. It's been great to learn about my town history in researching the local headstones.

Orrin Blood
Hello,
Interested in Orrin as I do not have him listed with
another searcher and children of Francis and Elizabeth Spaulding Blood.
Living in Hillsborough Co., makes sense for the Bloods as my relationships also went through there.
I am working on collateral lines for Blood.
Mine married into Barrett, then into Olin and lived in Canton, NY.
Please to write,
Ruth in IL nrhundley@sbcglobal.net

RE: baby richardson
Thanks for implementing the correction and best of luck with your project. You've done quite a job so far. The town cemetery board was very helpful to me in sending a cemetery plot map and a hand drawn layout of my G Grandfathers plot.

Delia Mary Rabida Burns (Aug. 16, 1911 - Jun. 12, 1994)
Are you positive that Delia was buried in the Holy Cross Cemetery, Duxbury, Washington County, Vermont?

According to the Journal Opinion, Bradford, Vermont - June 8, 1994, her son, Clayton,Jr was buried in Holy Cross but I cannot find Delia's obituary to find her burial site. http://jop.stparchive.com/Archive/JOP/JOP06081994P06.php

I do, however, find that her husband, Clayton, was buried in the Jedediah Hyde Cemetery, Hyde Park,
Lamoille County, Vermont and the headstone has Delia's name and birthdate etched into it so she may be buried there but on the other hand it also has Clayton, Jr's name and birthdate on it too. http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GSln=Burns&GSiman=1&GSst=49&GSsr=41&GRid=44468897&

Abiel Wilson (Vale End)
When you added another photo for Abiel, I did a little searching to see if I could trace his other children. I found out that Putnam Wilson removed to Newport Maine in 1826, and that he had been a veteran of the War of 1812...I even found a record in an index of Maine veterans giving a cemetery. But-I couldn't find that cemetery in the town where he was. I hunted up another Find A Grave person who had done lots of photos in the area, and sent them a message. They found a record! That's the good news. Bad news is it's a 1975 cemetery transcription, and the cemetery isn't listed anywhere! The individual I contacted is going to see if they can find it, and I also contacted (at their suggestion) the Newport Cultural Center to see if they have any info on the cemetery (it's called "Billings Hill" in the transcription). I am wondering if it has another name; it's not listed in Find A Grave, and I would like to get the names added and linked up (there are several of Putnam's family buried there). We'll see what happens!

Orrin and Louisa Blood
The town history lists Orrin/Orin's parents as Maj. Francis and Rebecca (Parlin) Blood (she was from Carlisle MA). Orrin/Orin's wife Louise/Louisa is listed with the maiden name of Barker--Louise was his first wife, his second was Jane Putnam (daughter of Capt. Caleb Putnam). There were a LOT of Bloods out here back in the day! It was Orin's grandfather Gen. Francis Blood who was married to Elizabeth Spaulding (of Pepperell MA) according to the town history.

If I get time tomorrow, I'll do some more checking on the bloodline of Bloods.
