birth date for Eunice M Hall
For #93662116: It looks like the incorrect birthdate has been transcribed. Should be December 27, 1918.

Hi Carolyn,

Ginny is a friend of mine too, and she's the one who introduced me to Find A Grave four or five years ago.

Thanks for notifying Find A Grave. Hurley's death certificate was interesting, it said only that he was buried in the new cemetery, but Ascutney Cemetery was fairly new at the time. I've been very lucky to have the cemetery records and access to the town records to help sort out the mysteries on this side of the river.

I do know Ginny
One of the gravestones is definitely a cenotaph. I noted on my memorial page that there are two gravestones for them.
Maybe if you do the same we will be covered; seeing we don't know which one is the cenotaph.

RE: Bartlett Family Tree
Yes, I have the same book that you have. The only way I can think of finding more about Samuel Bartlett and his wife, Downer, is to find either the birth record of Nathaniel Bartlett(Born 1755, died 1838) or his obituary. Do you have a suggestion how this may be done? Please respond by e-mail bobbartlett37@hotmail.com as I'm having trouble logging into Find A Grave. It is strange that Dea. John Bartlett (1727-1797) also married a Downer,ie,Jemina.

John Whitten Rev War
Hi,

You say he was a Revolutionary War soldier, but give age at death of 55. That would make him 5 years old in 1776. I believe you have him confused with another John Whitten, born 1717 In Greenland, who was in the war, so the name is in the Revolutionary war records.
This John was the father of Reuben Whitten of Ashland, who is in my line.

Regards

Ellis memorials
Carolyn:
Just a thank you for the great memorials
that you created for Newell Ellis #91542912,
and his wife Sarah M. (Boardman)#91424537.
I have just created a memorial for their
daughter Martha A. (Ellis) Johnston who is
buried in Carver, Plymouth, Mass., and it
was great to link her to such nice memorials.
Take Care,
Sandy

Mt. View Cemetery
I read your message on another's bio and I am frustrated as well with the Mountain View Cemeteries memorials. I have submitted several edits for our family and haven't had a response. I am only a few miles from there and visit it quite often so if there is anything you need just let me know. I'd be happy to help get this in order.

Tasker in Cornish
Hi Carolyn,
I am working on my Tasker/Hall ancestors and found your F.A.G. entry for James Tasker, 1757-1837, (#81883425) in Cornish, NH, whose unnamed wife lived in Cornish past the age of 100. You mentioned a possible son named Ebenezer. I have a reference to an Ebenezer Tasker, 1798-1850, (#121850074) who was born in Cornish, NH but moved to Boston and lived there until his death. Ebenezer's parents were James Tasker and Charity Church according to marriage records from Boston. There is a Charity Tasker listed in the 1860 US Census for Cornish, b~1762, (age 98) living in the household of James Tasker, b~1788, (her son?). This appears to be the James Tasker, 1785-1876, listed as a child of James Tasker, 1757-1837, above. Does any of this make sense with what you might have for Taskers in Cornish?
Thanks,
Dave

RE: Bartlett Family Tree
My e--mail address is bobbartlett37@hotmail.com. My father was Fred L.(Frederick LaGrange)Bartlett. His father was Bert James Bartlett. His father was William Payson Bartlett. His father was Nathaniel Bartlett. Now I have found four Nathaniel Bartletts. One shows William Payson as a son in 1850 census with a brother, Edwin Philander Bartlett. FDA 91238967 shows Nathaniel Jr Bartlett with a son as Edwin Phillander but not William Payson. Can you expain this?
