Grandma Mac (Elizabeth Ella Kellogg MacFaddin) was the genealogist of the family. She got the "bug" from her father. She kept all her research in an old black suitcase. There were notes on all sorts of scraps of paper – the back of a grocery list, used envelopes and even a bank statement here and there. Her handwriting was neat and dainty. She would come down from Fresno and Daddy would drive her in to the Los Angeles Main Library to spend all day there working on her research. When she passed away in 1970 the suitcase was put away, until my sister took up the task in 1999, of sorting through all of Grandma's bits and bobs of information.|
I personally had no interest in genealogy. That is until 2008 when quite by accident, I found my Dad's name in another family tree. So it's not my fault that I've become obsessed with the family history. I have a need to connect the dots.
Back to Grandma Mac, wouldn't she just have a field day with all the information that is at our fingertips today? Many thanks go out to all the volunteers through the various groups, like Find A Grave that give their time to help put the family puzzles together.
Names I am researching: MacFaddin/McFaddin or McFadden, Boynton, Breed, Caldow, Clark, Cody, Higgins, Hiscock, Houghton, Kellogg, Rathermel, Sairs, Schuck and Wilder.

HI... I have added the grave marker photos for the Roseberry family, however, I'm not really happy with the pictures. They are resting under a beautiful shad tree, but it creates some difficult lighting issues. I'm going back to the cemetery for another request this week and I'll go back to see if I can get better shots for you. If I do, I'll replace the ones on your memorials!

thank you! :) even though he passed away so young, I am grateful that he didn't live long enough to see the horrific way Rose died. had he been there, he would likely have been killed, too.

hello. Raymond Trujillo in Holy Sepulcher cemetery was born 18 July 1881, died 01 October 1939. his wife was Rose Trujillo, #37520713. if you would add that, I would love you for it. his wife was buried by him, but with her daughter, Peggy. they were killed on the same day in 1956.
Thank you for updating Charles Columbus McGinnis!

We had entered Colleen into Find A Grave on July 22, 2013 and your entry was October 24th of the same year. #114195456 - if you could delete your page due only to timing. Thanks for all the work you do for Find A Grave.
Thanks for photographing baby Eric Ripley's headstone. Loved your bio regarding Grandma Mac! She would be mighty pleased about the considerable time and effort you have given as a volunteer! You're worth your weight in gold....
