Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been interested in the history of my ancestors & my husband's ancestors for many years and have visited many of their graves over the years. I enjoy doing research on family members as well as others. It makes me realize how short life really is and how we should leave a positive footprint here. But most of all, how important it is to be prepared to pass from his life in a right relationship with God through Jesus Christ.

I also love my town of Kirksville, Missouri, and the County of Adair. I enjoy studying county and city history and the people who made the history. I feel privileged to be a member of the board called Friends of Forest-Llewellyn Cemetery in Kirksville, secretary/treasurer of Kirksville's Ownbey Cemetery Board and also, as of January 2015, President of the Adair County, Missouri, Historical Society.

Any photos that I have taken and post on this site are free to anyone. You have my permission to copy them for personal use or post to Ancestry.com or any other ancestral sites you wish as long as it is out of respect for the person represented. I hope you find some of your relatives!

I am happy to make any additions or corrections to memorials; just use the Edit tab and I will make the changes as soon as possible.

Oops, sorry. Yes, the James E. Waters #64597381 and Sallie Ann (Carter) Waters #64597692 are the parents of Chales Waters #53085318. Please link him to his parents. Thank you for catching my error.

RE: children of
Hello,
I contacted you months ago about # 62385602. I have no evidence of the children for S. Ivie & Julia except pictures with names. Do you have records from missouri stating all the children?

the Holman family
Hello! I just came across some of the information that you have posted on findagrave about the Holman family. I am related to Barbra Holman May VanGundy. According to the information I have she was born 13 March 1813 in Ross County, Ohio. She died in 1877 in Carroll County, Indiana. I was just wondering if you might have any information about her?

Blytha thank you two so much for the love you have shone to those gone on by authenticating their lives. Thank you for your work through Find A Grave making a difference to those of us who seek our extended families and thank you for the photos that you so freely let us copy for our own family files. I am trying to get as much as I can on Ancestry for my descendants and others to see their heritage. My time is fast running out. I am now 87 and my health is very poor. I have major problems but I keep going trying to get the most I can on Ancestry. May God richly bless you for all you do to help others.

p.s. Only two people in all of the over 200 that I have approached for help on Find A Grave have been less than gracious.
