I was born in Yakima, Washington, and have lived in the Yakima Valley all my life...a 3 generation Washingtonian. I have been interested in genealogy since, my great-aunt Elsie, put together. a book of our family genealogy. I've been hooked every since. This is a great site to display, pictures, and memorials, and I get to take pictures, another great love of mine. |
See ya around,

Thank you for photographing the grave of my grandparents. I appreciate the time you took to do it for me as I no longer live in the area.

Thanks for your picture, unfortunately I can't tell if he was a 508PIB, 82nd airborne during the WW2 . I'm pretty certain he is the hero I look after , same name, same Birth year, same state ... If one day you find his obit could you contact me ?

You posted photo's for the Rundle twins, would you mind if I use the photo on my ancestry account with full credit to you?
|montanesian||Lewis Bledsoe Austin|
Fern--Lewis Bledsoe Austin is my GG Grandfather. I live in Helena MT, near Jefferson City, MT. My G-Grandmother was his youngest child from his two marriages, Sallie Lenore Austin, born in 1865. I've tramped through the Jefferson City cemetery 3 or 4 times and never found Lewis's grave or a marker or headstone. Do you know of any cemetery record/obituary/Bible or anything that shows his date of death or where he was buried for sure? Some stuff I've seen say he was buried in Bozeman, MT. I've looked at the Bozeman cemetery also and not found anything. Like you, I'm really addicted to genealogy and tracking down my ancestors. Larry Putnam
