My interest in genealogy began as a tween when Roots came out. I drew a pedigree chart for my grandmother to fill in. I was so excited when she mailed it back to me, filled in with pencil. I've been hitting the research hard the past few years as the children have grown up and have their own lives. Waiting for the next little leaves...|
My research involves the Southards, Sniders, Solies, and can't forget the Morks, Czerwonkas, Kvernens, Rogers, Hansons (lots of Hansons), Larsons, and love it when the Hansons and Larsons flipflop and I don't know which side of the fence I am on.
If you have any photos of peeps on Find A Grave, please forward them. I covet them! Names on a piece of paper are much more meaningful with a photo.
You may use without permission photos of grave markers/headstones uploaded by me, but must state "used by permission from Cheryl Miller"
Photos on my memorials posted by others, you will need to ask the poster of the photos for permission.
Regarding photos of people on memorials that I have posted, you must ask!!!
I know...I know... please show respect by asking to use my family's photos :)

So, is this the John Flattum you are related to?
I am from his brother Ole's branch.
Send me your private email address and I can send you obits for most of the family.

No, I am not related. We photographed the cemetery. Sorry Penny

In answer to your query on Lime Creek Lutheran Cemetery, it is located in Emmons on State Line Road. The Church has been moved to the 'Farming of Yester Year Site' in Kiester, but the cemetery remains with a nice memorial of the church and the beautiful silver arched gates. I have some obits of many Flattum's if you are interested as this is my family, too.
Adding photos for Avery's in Maloon this week if they are your kin too.
|Deborah Rudy||Another Goodwin|
I added the very old Sleeper Cemetery to Find A Grave database, on a dirt road on the St Albans mountain last week. Not many remaining headstones, and filled with brush, weeds, potholes and vines, as well as being in the midst of coyote and bear habitat! But a female, Marium Grover with maiden name of Goodwin, dau of Eph. is among them. Perhaps you have official documentation of the spelling of Marium/Mariium or is it Mirium, as it is listed with several varients.

What an accident story. A good find.

Yes, it is fine to use my photos for personal use. Thanks for asking.
Just thought you might like to know that I added a few of the oldest Goodwin headstones photos, including Civil War veteran George, this week.
