Bio and Links
Bio Photo My interest in genealogy began as a tween when Roots came out. I drew a pedigree chart for my grandmother to fill in. I was so excited when she mailed it back to me, filled in with pencil. I've been hitting the research hard the past few years as the children have grown up and have their own lives. Waiting for the next little leaves...

My research involves the Southards, Sniders, Solies, and can't forget the Morks, Czerwonkas, Kvernens, Rogers, Hansons (lots of Hansons), Larsons, and love it when the Hansons and Larsons flipflop and I don't know which side of the fence I am on.

If you have any photos of peeps on Find A Grave, please forward them. I covet them! Names on a piece of paper are much more meaningful with a photo.

You may use without permission photos of grave markers/headstones uploaded by me, but must state "used by permission from Cheryl Miller"

Photos on my memorials posted by others, you will need to ask the poster of the photos for permission.

Regarding photos of people on memorials that I have posted, you must ask!!!

I know...I know... please show respect by asking to use my family's photos :)

RE: Katherine Wilson Brick
Hi Cheryl,
I always write a note when I decline an edit so I assumed you got the question.

I had asked if you had any information to support removing Wilson as her maiden name because she is listed as Katherine Wilson Brick in cemetery records and she is buried in the middle of the Wilson family plot rather than with any Bricks or Rylances. I did figure out that she is buried with her 1st husband and his family so made the change you suggested.

If she is family please let me know as I would be happy to transfer, or if she is not, add any information you care to share from the obit. Does it mention if Donald Wilson was her son?

Thanks again!

Hi Cheryl,
I just declined an edit you sent on this memorial as a way to ask for more information but kept digging and found the answer to my question. Thank you for pointing me in the right direction.

Hi Cheryl, Sadly, I have not been able to find a photo of Mary. If only! I would love to see photo of Stephen ( have one I found online of him in overalls...not sure if this is one you posted). If I am ever able to find a photo of Mary, I will contact you for sure. All the best, Pam

RE: Randi Headstone
Hi Cheryl. How are you doing? Where do you live again? Its snowing here. I have more pictures to add to the Silver Lake Cemetery that I took before winter. Thought I'd better get them in before spring. A Paul has been adding names too. But he has some duplicates. I emailed him.

RE: just to clarify
Yes, that was confusing! I wonder why they put "mother" and "daughter" on the stone. Since Rose was already deceased, they should have inscribed "granddaughter" for Donna. Oh well.

One of your Edit requests I had to decline; I will change it manually. You put Donna's surname in the maiden name field. We are instructed to put the maiden name in the surname field, if a woman never marries.

There is no need for you to supply documentation. I believe what you are telling me.

Thank you very much for all of the information.

Best regards,

Edna Emmerling
Wanted to let you all know that Dick's mother (Edna Emmerling) passed away. There will be a memorial service at the Methodist Church, Saturday, January 17 at 11:00 with a lunch following at the V.F.W.

If you want to send a card, Dick's address is:
3278 S. Flamingo Way
Denver, CO 80222

Is this the Edna Emmerling you were looking for. Just so happens that her son, Dick, was in my graduating class from Hugo, CO.
