Bio Photo I have been taking photos of tombstones for years. I am working on getting all the photos that I have on disc of Oak Hill Cemetery in Taylorville put on Find A Grave. I will be glad to transfer any memorial, just request.

I only transfer memorials when they are no relation to me. If they are family, it is why they have a memorial. I am sorry if I upset anyone.

Denise

Thank you Denise for the transfer of Herman, Maude and Robert Oldham. I have been working to complete the Zemke family and all of these wonderful family members come into play.
Thank you again.

Love family Taylorville
Hello Denise and thank you for the quick reply as well as the transfer of the Love memorials for my attendance. I will work at submitting the correct information and that will filter down to descendants as well.
Again, your work is so appreciated Denise,
God Bless,
from Linda

Oak Hill, Taylorville
We have communicated previously as you have my Love family photographed and for that I am happy. Iam referring to William B Love 1857- 1922 and wife Elizabeth's 1860- 1946 details. Somehow Elizabeth has been given the wrong birth surname along with the wrong family, totally.
There is a photo of a lady on the Elizabeth Love memorial 1860 1946 and her name given as Risby? Not sure now how I can correct this. Can you help? Thank you so very much. I had requested the transfer of the Love Memorials in Oak Hill from you some time ago but just stumbled on this tonight through ancestry.

RE: Zemke
Thank you for the transfers Denise. I have them already researched and almost ready to post.
I am so far down the line of this family member that I must go back and start down another line. My problem is that I have not put in trees and that will take time to do that. I have books and books of paper with all of their information. You were smart to post as you go along. I see that now. No one who has not looked into their genealogy would have any inkling of how addictive it is. But, you sure get great pleasure out of seeing a family all come together in the hereafter.
Have a great weekend. And many thanks to you.

RE: Zemke
Good Evening, I am going to close this computer for the night. I just cannot seem to stop getting farther and farther into families.
I must make myself get back to my own family. That is my goal - one day.
I reviewed the cemetery photos that you have taken and I am overwhelmed. What a job. I take some for others when requested in my area and I must admit it is not as easy as it seems. Sun, shadows, etc.
You and your friend have done an amazing job and all of us appreciate your work.
Good Night.

Thank you Denise. I appreciate all of the transfers and your willingness to do so.
I guess we end up helping each other and others. That is a good thing.

FYI--I just sent you edit to link Lee's mother, Agnes Mahan. I obtained info. from her obit, which can be found online, Peoria Journal Star obits. I came across it as another son, Gale Mahan, just passed away. Whoever created memorial for Agnes omitted info. on her son Lee. Thanks. Linda

RE: H. M. HALLOCK MEMORIAL
THE REASON I ASK IS I AM SURE THIS IS HENRY "HARRY" MARION HALLOCK. THE DEATH DATE MATCHES. I KNOW HE DIED IN CHICAGO, BUT DEATH INDEX HAD HIM BURIED AT A CEMETERY IN CHICAGO.

HIS FIRST WIFE WAS ONE OF MY WHISLER ANCESTORS HERE IN KANSAS. HE LIVED HERE MANY YEARS BEFORE MOVING TO ILLINOIS WITH HIS SECOND WIFE.

ONE THING THAT WOULD HELP TO CONFIRM IS WHO THE OWNER OF HIS PLOT WAS AND IS ANYONE ELSE BURIED IN IT.

SURE DO THANK YOU FOR TRYING TO SOLVE THIS.
