F.M. Lacefield and spouse
I have a gravestone photo for F.M. Lacefield, which is shared with Eliza whom I believe is his spouse. This spouse does not match the spousal information you have on his memorial. I don't want to add the photo for the spouse with out knowing its right. Any suggestions? Ckeisling

Webster Cemetery Hancock County IL
There is only ONE Webster Cemetery... we are dealing with duplicates here. On February 1, 2010 "Teresa S." findagrave # 47109140 created a duplicate Webster Cemetery. All her Webster enties were made on the 2010 date. After looking at the site I believe only you and she are on the duplicated cemetery.
Eventually, as they become aware, Findagrave will combine the two into. Your entries could be duplicated by then so it might be a good idea to switch. I'm going to leave a note with Teresa S.
The larger of the two with the photos and the map should be used.
According to the official Webster website at:

http://rtillman.home.mchsi.com/webster.htm

The Webster Cemetery is on the gravel road
northwest of the Old Webster Store which is a well-known landmark in the area. The picture used on the website for the cemetery is the wrought iron fence and the green sign you mentioned. I have not personally been to the cemetery and the photo I used is of my grandson standing near the sign during a family trip of my daughter and her family. My daughter who took the photo says it's the main entrance by a little spot where a few cars could park. But, that was 4 years ago and the sign may have been moved.
I tried to call the cemetery sexton Mrs. Jones at 217-654-2251 as she would be the best source of information but you can also try Barbara Tillman (Webster website) at 217-654-9322 and ask for her. I spoke with her husband Robert and he was not sure. Another source would be "No Reins" findagrave # 46595053. She is the source of the green sign photo and included in her entries is the Perkins Family Memorial. The Perkins were the original settlers to Webster. It has been known as Perkins Settlement, Macedonia, Ramus and Webster.
Both Webster Cemeteries found on Findagrave as I said are the same cemetery. Duplication of cemeteries has happened many times on Findagrave.
Hope I've been of some help.... CWM

Embry Cemetery
Judy:

Please help me out if you can.

There now seems to be two Lawson Embry Cemeteries listed on Find-A-Grave. The one east of Grancer is the one known a 'Lawson Embry' Cemetery. There is another Embry Cemetery north of Grancer that is known simply as 'Embry' Cemetery and has a primitive church made of concrete block on the south end of the cemetery. The latter (and the second one you come to on the Butler County listing) is the one incorrectly listed as 'Lawson Embry.'

I noted that you have created an Embry Cemetery in Butler County. Can you check the photo and location of the second Lawson Embry Cemetery to verify these are the same? I don't want to request merging the two if your cemetery is different.

Thanks,
Mark Caldwell

George Coats
Thanks for parents of George Coats. I have added them to his memorial and also added the RootsWeb Presents Kentucky Death Records 1911-2000 for him. I put your full name showing that the information about George's parents came from you. If you would prefer I not to show you full name, please let me know so I can change it. Thanks so much for your help. VirJean
