Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have now been back in Colorado for a couple of years but I am still dreaming of waterways, bridges, moss covered trees, and yes the rain. I don't know if I will ever get use to the snow but I am told we need the snow for the water levels during the summer. I am unsure of the numbers but I believe rain works better and it doesn't require a shovel.

I have been lucky enough to connect with family and friends. While in Oregon I had some great Colorado volunteers that helped me with my family's stones and have had the pleasure of meeting and working with them in Colorado and meeting new ones along the way.

I have had quite a couple of years, babies born; friends & family that have passed; reconnected with friends from high school; getting to know my granddaughter, and I have had two surgeries.

I have been working a number of cemeteries trying to help family find family and over the last three years have heard some of the saddest and happiest stories from family that were so happy I helped them locate a missing loved one. I still get surprised when someone mentions the number of memorials I have loaded or the number of photo requests I have completed. I do this for you and the numbers mean nothing. If I was somehow able to help one of you during the day find an aunt, uncle, sibling, grandparent, parent, or childhood friend it is you that has given me a reason to smile that day and continue on with what I do.

Also, I believe in transferring photos to family no matter how many generations removed. I believe the four generation rule is used for hoarders that are interested in numbers and just want to keep your family. One of my pet peeves is people taking over or starting memorials that do not know how or have any intention of maintaining the site. I feel the family belongs to the family but should be with a family member that is going to insure that links and edits are going to be taken care of in a timely manner.

I do not transfer to non family I volunteer my time for the family and that is where I want them to end up. I am impressed and grateful that there are people who take time to work on groups and any editing you require or photos you need I am your girl but NO I don't transfer to non family.

Neenan Memorial Transfer Request
Hello VDR.
I would like to request a transfer of the memorials of my daughters' GGG Grandfather and Grandmother, Bridget & Thomas Neenan.
I did the genealogy work to trace this lineage some years ago. Because I am so geneaddicted (LOL) I have removed myself for a few years now while going thru grad school & starting private practice. But now I am back and starting here on Find A Grave I want to connect and take care of the ancestral family! BTW I was once "transported" to Colorado and felt the same as you and so happy to agree that rain is a better method not to mention the ease of flat land! LOL!
Thank you so much for the creation of these memorials I cannot tell you how I felt to see this pics you posted. I feel like I finally connected to Bridget and Thomas Neenan for the first time. I can't wait to link them to the rest of their family on here. My daughers' GG grandfather, Michael Neenan is waiting in Daytona Beach to be linked with them!
Thank you!! Thank you!! Naomi Micky Waters

I have always appropriated all your photos you take on here. Just curious do you happen to have the block number for the DeSalvo grave. Thanks.
