If you want to use my pictures in your family research files or whatever it is fine with me.
If I have added any pictures to any pages that do not look too good and you would like a better picture of the gravestone be sure and ask and I will see if I can possibly get a better picture.
I am a direct descendant of the Richard Haines who left England aboard the ship "Amity" in 1682. He died on the ship and his wife and kids settled in NJ. Richard was my 6th Great Grandfather. There are a lot of Haines in the US from this Richard. Nathan Haines of OH was my Gr Grandfather. Ebenezer Haines who married Rebecca Berry was his father. Nathan Haines married Sarah Iiams in Grant Co., IN. I have also done a lot of research on the Iiams name. My Grandfather E. Morton Haines was born in Grant Co., IN in 1865 and moved to OR in 1892 where he lived out his life. I have a lot of family connections to Grant Co., IN.

RE: Goertler
They are both in your name now.I did look for the daughter married to Prof. Frank Betzel. No luck as her first name was never mentioned in the newspapers that I could find.Probably Jennie, mother to Irwin,Charles, etc.,but nothing states she was a Goertler.Good luck with the hunt !

Goertler
Good morning Nathan ! I do thank you for letting me know I forgot to add the newspaper credit.I have added it now and hope I am forgiven.
You are correct on the name spelling, another one of those that was spelled both ways.Until you brought it to my attention, I had not seen the other one.Fred and his first wife don't have headstones.Since you found his second wife's headstone with that spelling I will change mine.

I an more than happy to transcribe anything you want to send me.I realize not everyone enjoys doing that, but I really don't mind.
I'm just afraid that Find A Grave will remove the scans someday, and the information will be lost.

If you want me to transfer them to you,I would be more than happy.

Nathan, my thanks once again for posting great photos - close-up and wonderful scenic shots of his headstone. I know his brother - I hope he visits him here! TX Bonnie
