Thank you for the obituary submissions, but I no longer add them to my memorials. Thank you for understanding.
Please check your sources before adding memorials on here. I've noticed that people will automatically post a memorial to a cemetery simply because the funeral services are held at a funeral home that the cemetery owns. Also, Find A Grave offers a solution to those who are cremated and have not been buried. You do not need to post them at a cemetery because it's in their hometown. I've seen this create a lot of confusion for genealogists who see that a memorial is posted here, but don't take the time to read the little note that's inside the memorial stating they are not actually buried there.
There are a variety of forums that allow people to submit histories that a grateful descendant has written to honor their ancestor. I use my own time to do cemetery registration. While I understand the impetus that many feel to post the records of their families on their memorials, I choose not to do so.
