Welcome 2016!! |
As you can see I am still in Colorado (currently snowing and in the teens) and still dreaming of Oregon and its waterways, bridges, moss covered trees, and yes the rain.. I am looking forward to a possible trip back to Oregon later this year for at least a week.
I have worked with and enjoyed communicating with a number of great volunteers in both Colorado and Oregon and consider them my friends and FAG family. With that in mind this year has also brought me a few nasty volunteers that I have had to have FAG block from emailing me. Please if you are one of these move on no communication is required and leaves more time for me to help the ones that need and appreciate my help. Also, I don't believe I need help on how to load memorials – after over 50,000 memorials managed I think I have it down.
I enjoy helping people with finding and linking their families – investigating is in my blood. I also enjoy filling photo requests as you can tell by my over 2,500 currently taken. So if you need my help please let me know but please be considerate on the number asked at a time so I can help others who need my help. Also, if I tell you the grave is unmarked or the loved one was never buried at the cemetery, this was only brought to your attention after asking at least two people in the office and checking out the site myself to insure the information is accurate. I find I have a great working relationship with all the cemeteries I currently work with.
Transfers! If the name is Bolejack, Bolerjack, Pomeroy, Campbell, Deboard, Dickey, Hodges, Weddle, Francis, Braning, or Robinson – don’t bother asking. Or if I put a flower “ Family” – please don’t ask it just takes time away from what I am currently doing. With that said – I don’t believe in hording other volunteers family members. Sometimes it might take me a few days to answer but I do try and answer as quickly as possible. I also will not transfer when you have a proven history of poor updating and editing memorials skills. I believe that the loved one and their family members deserve someone that is prepared to take care of them.
Outside of FAG I am the proud grandmother of twin granddaughters and three grandsons. And if they don’t keep me busy enough I have two twin nephews and their brother that stop by to spread joy and the occasional cold.

First, I just want to say THANK YOU for all the hard work you have give to help support FIND A GRAVE WEBSITE. It is so wonderful to be able to have access to grave information and photos instantly.
That said, I was viewing the DAWSON CEMETARY, CUMBERLAND VA as I am the family caretaker for this graveyard. I noticed 2 grave listings that I do not recall being in our family cemetery: Dawson, Lelia Mae Bolejack and Dawson, Larry Lee.
What should I do next to help correct this?
Thank you so much,

|Ceri Evans||John L Rees & Margaret E Rees - Riverside Cemetery, Denver|
Good Afternoon (or morning for yourself given the time difference)
A request for help from South Wales in the UK.
Similar to yourself, also have a passion for photographing gravestones
and came across a memorial on a headstone when doing some work on my extended
The memorial inscription for Margaret Emma Rees (Nee Cornelius)
led me to a headstone you recorded at Riverside and added to Find A Grave on the
18 Oct 2012 #99172293.
I know her husband was John and now believe that another headstone that
you recorded and again added to Find A Grave #99172131 for a John L Rees is him.
Both are recorded buried within the same block No 7.
However, just want to make sure that they are connected.
I don't know if you could confirm if they are connected by way of when
you recorded the images or if you could provide me with a contact at
Riverside Cemetery who would be able to help me out.
Many regards and look forward to your reply.

Thank you so much for posting the photo so promptly. The incomplete photo we had was taken by my cousin who used to live about 2 blocks from Fairmount, but she was camera-phobic. I persuaded her to take the photo, but she ended up taking about 10, all incomplete and refused to try again.
Thanks for this GOOD one.
