Bio and Links
Bio Photo Some of the fondest memories of Aunt T's childhood are visiting her older infant brother's grave site in a beautiful old cemetery. After paying respects to him and her great-grandparents (they shared a plot), her family would then wander around the cemetery reading inscriptions and trying to find the oldest dates. She would always read the names aloud, feeling it made them more real to her and wondering when the last time someone on earth had uttered their names.

Now we both share the same interests in tracing our roots and still love to walk around old cemeteries reading names and dates. We're grateful we can do it "virtually" for those ancestors that are buried far from us.

We are happy to transfer memorials within Find A Grave's guidelines.

RE: Augusta Kalloch Christie
Looks Good! I didn't know you could add the fame stars and launch the approval process. Would you rate Lillian Stevens, also W.C.T.U.? I found her photo in family memorabilia!

RE: Augusta Kalloch Christie
How wonderful that this fine woman is linked to your family! I will send my current draft under edit and then we can contact the administrators to see what might be needed to get her a star of fame.

Are you related to Edwin Brymer (father)? Or Myles Sherwood Brymer (son)? Or Miles Junior (grandson)?

RE: Sumner Whitney
Glad to spread the word about the community's founders. Quite an amazing man. People should know about him. Wonder if we can find a photograph.

I have no idea if I am a closer relative to Katherine than you are, but I would like to get her connected to her Pattangall kin on Find a Grave. She was born 6 May 1886 in Brockton, MA, daughter of William Robinson Pattangall (Find A Grave Memorial# 116993292) who would later become Chief Justice of Maine's Supreme Court and his first wife Jean Mary Johnson (Find A Grave Memorial# 20538800). Katherine was married 13 Oct 1910 at Pembroke ME to Perley C. Brown who is also in your collection for this cemetery.
Thank you,
M. R. Pattangall

Thanks for your work on the updates. Took some searching, but lots of good records in Family Search. I enjoy seeing families linked together.

Alan Price
Clifton Leroy Ricker
Hi, my name is Alan Price. When Mr Ricker served in the U.S. Army during the Second World War, was he in the Philippines in May 1945? I mean you no harm and my interest in completely benign. However, if Mr Ricker was in the Philippines at this time, I have some information which may fascinate you.
