I have been doing family history for over 45 years and I do understand that elation when one finds information about their family. For over 8 years now I have tried to do my share in documenting grave sites in any cemetery that I am near. I hope that my efforts have helped some to actually see the grave site of a family member that they never knew the location of or could never hope to visit. I spend many hours doing the photography and even cleaning up the weed choked sites. Also I go the extra mile and try to find more documentation and information about the person.
It is not my intent to construct an instant family tree for anyone to claim; but, please, do not minimize or negate the time and efforts I put forth. I am always cooperative in making corrections or adding information to a site but prefer not to make transfers except under certain circumstances as it is my experience the requester does nothing to enhance the site but merely wants to collect.
Please be patient if I do not make an edit immediately. It will happen but I am not at the computer 24-7.

RE: Moore
Dear KEFleming,

You menitioned that I may use the photo for my family history purposes. In my initial contact, I said I wish to eventually publish something. I'm not sure what that looks like yet, but I am thinking it will be a collage of gravestones of those who served in Company B, 355th Infantry, 89th Division.

My I use the photograph for this purpose?

Thank you!

Ben Moore
Dear KEFleming,

I am researching my paternal grandfather's WWI army unit, Company B, 355th Infantry, 89th Division. According to the History of the 355th Infantry, Ben Moore was a member of this unit.

I'm not sure where I'm going with my project, but I would like to publish something eventually. Should I do so, may I use your photograph of the headstone for Ben Moore (Find A Grave Memorial# 94871801)?

Thank you,

Bryan Anderson

Joseph Scalissi
Linking siblings
Hi, Joe Scalissi here. I'm trying to find the correct link to send you information on linking my grandmother, Anna Scalissi to two of her siblings.
Anna Scalissi # 99959002
Rose Capaci #46813666
Samuel DeGregory #84723223

Their other sibling was Bernard De Gregory #82732888. He seems to be linked to her but all the siblings are not linked to each other & they are not all linked to their parents.
Their parents were
Antonino Di Gregorio #76979515
Josephine DiCarlo Di Gregorio #76979429
Any help or advice would be appreciated.
Thank you

I went back and walked thru the section they told me he was in. I'm positive I was in the correct area. They told me R2, 91, 7. I went back and forth several times. did you know for sure that he has a stone?

West headstone Maple Grove Cemetery
Would it be possible for you to take closeup photos of each of the 4 engravings on the WEST family monument located in the Maple Grove Cemetery in Clarence, Missouri for me??

I'm hoping the inscriptions will provide me additional information about those members who are buried there.

Thank you, Kem

RE: Ballweg, Joseph C.
You are probably much more knowledgeable about the Ballwegs than I am. My connection is through my brother's adopted daughter and her four Ballweg children.
Yes, we must be careful when we copy information from other family trees. More and more I'm finding mistakes in people's trees. Verifying with census information, family history books, and vital documents helps assure greater accuracy.
Thanks for writing.
