Bio and Links
Bio Photo I'm not perfect nor do I claim to be. My grammar is also not perfect and I do not mean to come across as rude.

I have been on this site for twelve years now and it's been quite an experience. Always constant change that it's hard to keep up with sometimes.

I want to thank all of you who have helped me in these twelve years of getting relatives linked up and adding their headstones. You are amazing and I am very grateful for your help.

The number one problem that I have come across this site is this rule:

How should I enter all married names for a woman's memorial when she was married more than once?

"The 'last name' should be the name that is on the headstone. Other married names should be included as part of the biography section. The 'maiden name' should only be her maiden name. Unless the maiden name is hyphenated, no part of the name should contain any punctuation."
They are difficult to find when several married names are used in the last name box.

Per the Find-A-Grave policy: "Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations, this would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents."

As many people are related to the same people, please only request direct line ancestors for transfers as are the Find A Grave Guidelines. I will gladly add information provided.

If there is a relative that you can prove a direct connection per the Find-A-Grave rules, I will gladly make the transfer. No others.
(Sometimes I may consider the transfer)

-------------------------------------------

If you have information on a relative or on a non-relative feel free to send it through the edit button and the memorial will be updated. I will NOT add census information in the bio area. I will however add a story or obit information.

I enjoy doing research and adding as much details just as much as anyone else.

99.9% of the contacts I have made through Find-A-Grave are the most fantastic people ever.

Life is too short so enjoy it while you can!

RE: Marion Emmit Coyle
Nancy,

Sorry for the confusion, but the information I had for the Caliente City Cemetery never listed the I.O.O.F. Cemetery. (It was a library book, with Nevada cemetery transcriptions.) When I took pictures back in 2006 I didn't have much time and didn't notice the cemetery differences. Maybe the person who I transferred the memorial to, can transfer Marion to the I.O.O.F. cemetery and the person who posted the memorial in 2014, can post the pictures on the original memorial and delete theirs. I am truly sorry for the confusion.

RE: Annie Axelsen
The bad thing is, if you search for her name under Annie Axelson, her memorial on Find a Grave will not come up.

IOOF & Caliente Cemeteries
Correction: I said a mind was a terrible thing to loose, didn't I. What I said about the location of the two cemeteries: They are actually located towards the upper LEFT of where they are indicated on the map, on the other side of Cemetery STREET. Sorry about the confusion.

Have a great weekend, Paul

RE: IOOF Cemetery and Caliente
Sorry, my brain had a flip-flop there for a minute, I homed in on the IOOF which I have visited dozens of cemeteries which were either IOOF owned or had an IOOF section. Took me a minute to realize you were talking about the cemeteries in Caliente, Lincoln, Nevada. A mind is such a terrible thing to loose!! :)
The IOOF and the Caliente City cemeteries are right next to each other. If you look on the map, they are not where they are marked. They are actually on the other side of Cemetery in the upper right. If you go to the satellite view they are obvious there. The IOOF is the green one to the left and the City cemetery is the brown one to the right. At least that is the way they used to be. My one son moved so I haven't been over in that area for three years and who knows what they look like with the drought that is going on. I wouldn't be surprised that some duplicates have been made, that is a common problem when cemeteries are right next to each other. If my memory is correct, there is a fence between the two, but that doesn't always trigger people's thinking to realize it's two different cemeteries and not just a different section.
I hope that helps explain things a little bit for you. Good talking to you, haven't gotten to for quite some time.

Sorry I can't help you with the duplicates. I winter in AZ with Chuck & Billie and aware of Chuck passing.

I found the information on his memorial to be very interesting (I had photographed it today). However, you don't explain why he is buried with Betty Lou McIntyre or the relationship or did I miss something. I know this is none of my business if you prefer not to answer.
