I use to use chalk on old stones, and was unaware of any damage it may do. I no longer use chalk on stones. If anyone has a listing I placed a stone photo on in which I used chalk, and they want that photo removed, just let me know and I will remove it. As agreed by find a grave, the chalked photo's will be removed as new, readable photo's are placed on the listing.|
Again, I no longer use chalk
If I use the EDITS tab for additional information, I do not have a record of where the information came from. I will no longer accept this form of updating a listing. Anyone wishing me to put information on a listing should send me a "find a grave" e-mail requesting the information be added.

Thomas, thank you for the NOXON gravestone picture. We appreciate you and your work
Thank you so much for the image of Samuel & Roxy (King) Smith's marker. Your contribution is highly appreciated!

Is that an SAR Medal in your photo of yourself? I am also a member of the SAR in the Colorado Society of the Sons of the American Revolution.
|Anthony Clark||VanRensler Colson|
I am also curious about Amanda J. Owen. Vanrenseler Colson is listed in all the U. S. Census that he appears in as single. I have not been able to find anything on Amanda J. Owen. If you have access to old obituaries or cemetery records perhaps you might be willing to investigate?
|Anthony Clark||Thank You!|
Thank you for helping me with my dilema. Vanrensler Colson is listed on Findagrave in two different locations. One in Edinburg Cemetery Find A Grave Memorial# 79709219, and the one you photographed in Greenridge Cemetery, Find A Grave Memorial# 120455902.
Your photo would seem to support Greenridge but I am still curious about the listing in Edinburg Cemetery. If you have time and are willing maybe you could visit Edinburg Cemetery and photograph the marker there or report that there is no marker there which is what I suspect. In any case, thank you for helping me with this by taking the photo in Greenridge.
