Trolling cemeteries in the vicinity of Saratoga, Washington, Warren and Rensselaer Counties in upstate New York and occasionally venturing beyond. I've loved cemeteries since childhood ~ so most people think I'm nuts.|

Thank you for transferring her memorial.
I am Roy Johnson, member # 47897195. I am inquiring reference a photo you have for a martin goronczniak # 74443862 at st. peters cemetery.
He and his 1st wife Josephine are listed on the front, but on the back of the stone is his second wife Anna Goronczniak (my great great grandmother). I was there in 2005 and took a photo an didnt know it was her at the time, but now cannot make out the death date. Is there any way you might go by there and get a rubbing on the death date for me and let me know what it is? Also is there anyone there at the cemetery that would know to get more information on Anna Goronczniak? info on file at the cemetery? Thanks

Alice, Thank you for the note and additional information. No I am not restoring the cemetery. I am researching the extended Dimmick/Dimick/Dymoke families as part of my family history. I will add the data you have provided as part of the explanation concerning the stone. John

Alice...I see the photos that you have taken for Edwin Dimick in this cemetery. I am guessing that this stone in not in its original location and it is in the pile of stones? Is that correct? Regards John

Alice, thanks for calling attention to my typo in Fred's memorial and many thanks for the nice photos of the Schafer's stones.

Thanks for linking the Winfield Baker's and the Leighton familes. We lived kitty-corner to the Bakers many years ago!
