I use to use chalk on old stones, and was unaware of any damage it may do. I no longer use chalk on stones. If anyone has a listing I placed a stone photo on in which I used chalk, and they want that photo removed, just let me know and I will remove it. As agreed by find a grave, the chalked photo's will be removed as new, readable photo's are placed on the listing.|
I just want to let everyone know, I do read all of the messages left on my page, and appreciate hearing that my efforts are not in vain. I am sorry though that I only answer the ones that are a question. I do appreciate all of your messages.
Thank You for your messages

Thanks Tom. Glad you left the old photo, makes a great comparison. The cemetery is intent on maintaining, but volunteers are tough to find. Today only 2 of us were there, did several stones in front of the old red brick receiving vault. Bill

Hi Tom: Thanks for updating his memorial. I added 2 photos to his memorial on 25 Jul. Cleaned the stone as well as those of the other Kidd's in this plot as part of a volunteer project w/the cemetery. Regards, Bill Preston
|Don Green||Mary E Cross, Fairview|
Hi again Thomas,
I noticed Mary's name at the end of William Cross's stone. I wasn't sure she was buried there, but I guess JamesP's list for Fairview wasn't all inclusive. I've created a Memorial and requested a photo to allow you to add a photo there. Wasn't sure if you have a close-up, but will appreciate whatever you can add. Thanks again !

Thanks so much again Thomas ! All the Rummings at Minaville, Crosses at Fairview and Roger Luft as well, a very busy Sunday indeed. Have little on William Cross before 1886 and was wondering if that star marker was for the civil war. Any chance I could be a full-sized photo of the family Cross marker e-mailed to me ? I'm at DonGreen@aol.com Thanks again for so much of your time !

Would you happen to have the names/dates for the other 2 headstones you captured in photo with Rose's? I can't make out the info on my screen. No rush. Thanks! - Colleen
