Bio and Links
Bio Photo Please don't hesitate to suggest corrections, changes or additions! I will gladly transfer any memorials as well ..I would love to have ALL of them claimed by their families!

I believe that the marker is the final word. As an example: if Mr. Smith wanted William Smith on his marker he would have put it there. If he put Billy Smith, I prefer to not change the memorial. I would be happy to add William James Smith in the bio section if such a request is made. If I did change it to William, someone else might see the marker and enter a duplicate using Billy again.

It is much more interesting to have more than first-last-born-died on memorials. So, many, many thanks goes to 'klh' who researches and adds so much info to memorials. Kudos Karlene!

As so many others have posted, using the edit tab to request transfers and make edits is soooo much easier!

RE: Lennea Utley
So, Escanaba is getting a Meijer's Shifty Takers, huh? I suppose it was inevitable that even Escanaba would end up with box stores. I wonder if their baklava is as good as it was in Lansing 45 years ago. Or if they even still sell it. Me, I am still bemoaning the loss of the original U.P. Original Sub Shop as operated by Mike Lauzon. :-)

Hi Elaine,

There is no need to transfer the memorial. She was the sister of Bob Loodeen who was my aunt Dorothy's husband. I was never particularly close to any of the Loodeens.

RE: George Ward
You're welcome. The other marker is also too illegible for me to read.

RE: Estelle McNeal
Sorry not for sure since the death certificate doesn't say. If I had to guess it would be Bethel since it seems that's where her Estelle's mother is buried and Estelle's death certificate says she's buried there. Next trip up I'll have to stop by and check it out that's about the only cemetery that I haven't been to yet.

RE: Marjorie
Sadie was my aunt, the wife of my oldest uncle, Daniel Hubert. Margie, aka marjorie and Marge, was another aunt. Valerie was another aunt. I will continue to maintain their memorials.
I have researched my family since 1964 and believe I know the family history better than anyone on Find A Grave.
