Bio and Links
Bio Photo I became interested in genealogy and finding my roots many years ago. In 2005, I began working for a company that has several cemeteries located near it. Weather permitting, I started going out during my lunch hour and visiting these cemeteries and taking pictures. I then discovered the MI Tombstone Project were I could upload my photos and help others locate their ancestors.

I've been trying to add my photos onto Find-A-Grave but it is a longer process trying to upload to two different sites. I have faith that I will eventually get it done. Somewhere along the way I also became Michigan's Ingham County Keeper for Find A Grave. If you find one of my photos on MI Tombstone Project, please let me know and I will upload it to FAG.

If you happen to stumble upon any Vance, Kaloz, Torok, Meehan, Cosgriff, Quinlans, Davarns, McVeigh I'd love to hear from you.

Note: If you find a photo that I took click on that photo and you will see my notes. Sometimes you'll get lucky and find other ancestors that you didn't know about based on my comments.

Please read the Help with Find A Grave link before requesting transers. I'm pretty good about fulfilling requests outside of the "direct relatives within four generations" rule. I believe the memorials are in better hands with family and/or a descendant than with myself that is a stranger to the family history. Plus, I have discovered that it is easier for "living" relatives to find you if you are the manager of the memorial. However, if you demand the request versus asking politely and if you don't state your relationship you will not receive the memorial.

Thank you.

Fern L Thompson # 27874130
Fern was my stepmother. I was at her funeral in 1971 and the marker was there then but did not have the date of death.

RE: Memorials
Hello Terri,

Some are distant relatives of mine and some are for other people that I have done research for. If one comes along that is closer I will ask. Thanks for asking and thanks for all your work on the memorials.

Thanks very much for the corrected info. I've moved the four McSweeney postings to this correct cemetery. Appreciate your corrections.
Take care, Betty Frey

I linked her parents to her page. Since they are family to you, if you would like me to transfer anyone to you, just let me know.

RE: Hunt
I am descendant of Gilmore and Hunt, through my 3rd great grandmother Mary M. Gilmore Smith Hunt.

They of course they married into other families. I have done extensive research, traveling to NY several times to get photos of family markers (which I had placed on their Find A Grave memorials, some by Miss Butterfly)

Hope this helps,
Thank you,

RE: Hunt

Yes, I am having a very hard time getting Miss Butterfly to do any transfers or corrections for that matter.

The Hunt's & Garfield's (with connections to president Garfield) are a very important part of my family. I have made several trips to NY to take photo's of graves and do some research. Also have found family in Mason who has the same 4th great grandmother connections. We have spent a couple of great evenings trading family information.

I hope some of this answers the question on how dedicated I am to all of this.

Also what am I to do about getting Miss Butterfly to do the transfers? She has spend a lot of time in "cat fights" with other Find A Grave members as they are very upset with her having so many memorials and not being willing to help others.

Thank you,

RE: Case Stone Photos
Hi Terri,

It was not last night. You did fine.

There were two memorials for each of the cases and you may have
missed noticing there were photos on two of them

Carlton Clark's memorial had no photos on it. I also uploaded those
Photos to the memorials of the other two persons on the obelisk

It was my pleasure and an honor to take this photo of another veteran.
