Please don't hesitate to send corrections, info or to even ask for a transfer. My goal on this site is to help other people with their genealogy and unite the memorials I've created with their families regardless of relation link. My transfer policy is very liberal and I transfer outside of the 4 generation guideline.

Thanks Tammy, I am always concerned that the person entering the info might be insalted. Isabelle Franks Doke Vogelsong was my great grandmother.

Isabell Doke Franks Vogelsong
Hello, Isabelle's name should be entered as Isabelle Franks Doke Vogelsong. She was born a Franks, thus should follow her name first, then married to Isaac John Doke and after his death, married Vogelsong

RE: Hannah Isabel Gifford
Hi Tammy,

Thanks for the transfer of my Great Grandfather, Walter J. Campbell. I have visited Willard Grove Cemetery in Channahon, Ill. back in the '90's. I'm located about 100 miles west of there, so it's not that difficult for me to get out that way.
As far as your John N. Nye, he may be a brother of one of my ancestors. John Nye Gifford's mother would be Hannah Nye - Gifford and her father would be David Nye. b: 1706 -- d: 1796 in Douglas, Worcestor County, Mass. Many more Nye's that go back to a Lave Nye. b: about 1280 in Denmark, and d: about 1346. Hope that we can connect with this family name

RE: Hannah Isabel Gifford
Hi Tammy,
Sorry that I took so long to get back to you, but I don't check my E-mail very often. Anyway I wanted to thank you very much for transferring Belle (Gifford) Campbell over to me. She is the mother of my Maternal Grandfather. Her father is John Nye Gifford. His middle name comes from his mother's maiden name. As near as I can tell, John's mother would be Hannah (Nye) and she married Cornelius Gifford. I have the whole line of Gifford's that go back several centuries. I also have the line of Nye's that goes back to the 1200's and 1300's.
Would your John Nye be a descendent of a Benjamin Nye and a Katherine Tupper? They came over on the ship "Abigail" with the Edmund Freeman Co. in 1635 and settled in Barnstable County, Mass.
Since you're not related to my Campbell's could you please also transfer my Great Grandfather, Walter J. Campbell (memorial #7392699) over to me? I have his Civil War Bio and I would like to add some of that Info to his page. Thank you so much.....Bob

Arthur Orin "Jim" Smith
Hi Tammy,
I added his middle and nickname to his memorial as you requested. In looking at his family links, it appears that you have a family connection and as I do not, I have transferred his memorial to you. Thanks for contacting me and I hope this transfer meets with your approval.

Noble & "Jenny" Bare
On 8/28/2013; I drove past the home that Noble and Jenny shared together. It reminded me of the countless times that I would knock on their door, requesting permission to fish in their pond. I was a kid, only 13 years old at the time. I am now 27, upon passing their home I wondered where Jenny was these days. I made a visit to Oakwood cemetery and requested burial location of Jenny; all the while, knowing that she passed. I was saddened to hear of her passing. The receptionist gave me the location of Noble & Jenny's burial, and I paid my respects.

They'll always be remembered by me. They gave my friends and I, including my best friend (babe the beagle) a place to fish during hot summer days.

Thank you for providing the entry which allowed me to read more into the lives of two wonderful people. I still remember the story Noble shared with me 13 years ago, about his experience with "Hee Haw."

As the beautiful people they are, they'll remain in my memory.

Thank you.
