I just love genealogy. I got hooked several years ago. I just love walking cemeteries. Many old stones are gorgeous. I just love a good mystery to solve. Many time answers are just awaiting me. I just have to keep my eyes open. |
I add other stones that I see in my treks in hope of helping others. If I have added one of your family, I'd be happy to transfer "management" of the memorial to you. Just let me know. Please use the edit tab on the memorial to do so. That way, I can make sure that I am transferring the correct monument. If you notice any errors, please let me know via the edit tab and I will make the corrections. Thanks. Please be patient with me about the edits that are sent automatically. I do try to keep up with them. Sometimes I do forget to check.
I lived in Green Township, a Cincinnati suburb for many years. I walked many of the cemeteries in Hamilton County, Ohio and Campbell & Kenton Counties in Kentucky. I currently live in Whitefish, Montana.
I walk cemeteries in Flathead County now.

Carol, do you know anything on line that gives the location of the graves at St. Stephen's? I know about http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~kycampbe/ (and its great) but the St. Stephen's list does not include locations. I hate to have to write to them each time I discover an ancestor that is buried there.
Any help would be appreciated.

|Karen A.||RE: George O. Dawes at Wesleyan|
Thanks so much for contacting me. I got a note from Debbie today as well. As I recall there were no dates on the memorial when I got it, or possibly only the years. I was helping a friend who has done extensive research over the years on the Clover name.
This is what she has posted online:
When I sent some edits to Shanna, she transferred it to me (I didn't ask). Apparently she's no longer active on findagrave. I cannot delete her memorial as I did not create it. I have cut the bio. down to bare minimum at least for now. Shanna had the grave location as B-2 which Debbie says does not exist. Maybe the cemetery records are online?
I noticed the marriage record you added but cannot enlarge it. Where did you find it? Am happy to work with you on this.

Another Julius is on the marker.

|MKlump||RE: Klump family|
I got stuck on a Klump from Dushore, PA. George Peter Klump. All of them on my husband's side are all in PA. No other states that I have found thus far and I think perhaps there were some adoptions :(
