Ancestry is a passion of mine. My mother and I make trips to take pictures and visit sites as often as we can. It's been amazing to me how much of a trail still remains on some ancestors. We've been to Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and Tennessee. And, of course, there is here in Oklahoma. We still have more to do in all these areas as well as further east. Other than this, I love to garden and write.|

Thank you so much for the pictures. I think pictures add so much to the family tree. Would it be all right if I add the pictures to my Ancestry tree? Again thank you very much. Lynn Fuller

Thanks for letting me know. We went up that way a year ago and visited some of the cemeteries to take photos. If I find that I need a picture or few, I'll get back with you. We were on our way to Colorado and enjoyed going through northwest Oklahoma toward New Mexico.

You are welcome. I've also added pictures for other Nix burials at that cemetery when I added John Nix's. I have the photos of all the existing markers but haven't uploaded them so requests gets moved to the front of the line. :) Thanks for your offer and will keep you in mind. Are you in or near Elk City?
