I volunteer to walk the cemeteries in search of your loved ones because they tell the story of who you are and where you came from. I am not in this for the numbers.I do not want to keep someones family records and pictures, but long to return them to their families where they belong. I am happy to share and pass on any and all photos and information I collect. Feel free to use any photos I take for your own personal use. Family names my cousin Nancy and I are researching are: Krebs, Willihnganz, Dawson, Jones and Smith (from Maryland and Illinois),Hauber, Hahn and Kummerow, along with LoPresti, Balsamo and Mascari. On my husbands side, Epping, Burrows, Shaw, LaVenture, Reddick, and Batson.
RE: William F Kummerow Graceland has no record of William, the cremations were for other Kummerows. Sorry if I confused things. Good luck with your search. Rosehill Cemetery is a large cemetery nearby you might check. Bob
I too am looking up my family tree. Matilda Smith was my Great great great great grandma. My own Grandma could trace our tree back to Matilda, but could never get past her. So I was extra determined to find her family. I found a great website on Carroll County Illinois and that has provided a plethora of info for me! However no physical link to siblings or parents... until I cam across Frisbey's headstone! I found it and my Grandma is going to be thrilled!! I now know her parents and siblings names, as well her Mom's maiden name :) If you have anything further on this please get in touch with me somehow. I'd really love it.
Kemp Cemetery I cannot believe how great this cemetery looks since I took the first pictures!! It is wonderful that someone stepped up and rescued it! Did you happen to take new pictures of the headstones? The ones I had taken were not that good due to light and the condition of the cemetery. If you have taken better ones, I will remove my bad pictures.
RE: Ezra and Eliza Blessing Jones Im not related to Esra and Eliza Blessing Jones, at least not directly, I am just documenting the Cemetery that they are interred in. but It seems pretty obvious that they named their children after their siblings and family. since Martha was named after your Martha E Jones sister of Esra.
