Thanks for posting the pic of the Dennis Cemetery. My distant Brayton grandparents are buried there. Can you give me the street or off street location as to where it's at? The only thing I can find is "West of Pomfret Center Schoolhouse". There is a Schoolhouse Hill Rd, west of Pomfret Center and from google maps I see a School in Pomfret Center, between Brown St. and US 44, and north of Paradise Rd. Is the cemetery near either? Thanks again.

Nate, thanks for the unexpected transfer of my 5th GGrandfather's memorial, one of 3 Revolutionary War ancestors I know of.

WOW Nate! This is a beautiful site!! Are these Civil War Veterans, and do you know the names of the soldiers?
I am a Civil War buff, and always looking for the last resting places of many of our Vermont "Boys in Blue" We had hundreds of them that migrated, either before or after the war, and spent their later years around Nebraska, Iowa, and other mid-western states.
An item of interest is that we have Union burials in every state except Alaska, and a few over seas.
Enough of my rant-- when I get going on the C.W. I don't know enough to quit!!

You supplied a pic for Esther Cole Day (#59370376). Can you also supply what this gravestone says? I can't read it from the pic.

Thank you for transferring Mary to me!
the Lydia Burdick you have listed in the non-cemetery (1792 - 1851) married to Rowland Burdick did not die in 1851 - She is listed in the 1860 Census record with Rowland Burdick.

On the memorial for Hannah Scarborough Kingsbury Clark, there is some confusion. The stone says it is Hannah born Scarborough who married a Kingsbury. The death date is hers. She did not marry a Clark. Those are not her parents that are linked to her memorial. Those are the parents of Hannah Kingsbury Clark, born Kingsbury and married to Rufus Clark. You have her birth date, but the other Hannah's death date. contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org if you want to discuss it. thanks, Cynthia.

A while back you transferred my Great Aunt's memorial page to me. We both had her in the Burdick Cemetery in Union Dale, PA. A stone was placed there when her first husband (Mark Davis) died. She remarried in 1925 (Joseph Kelsey). I just spoke to her 93 yr old daughter who told me she was not buried there but in Orange County. I just found the obituary in the press which supports what she said. Someone completed the date on the stone in the Burdick Cemetery even though she is not buried there.
The reason I am writing is that you had added a picture on her memorial page prior to transferring to me. I cannot remove the picture which is incorrect because you placed it there. Would you be so kind as to remove it for me so I can put in a photo request for the actual cemetery? The memorial # is 41337591 Thank you for helping me correct her memorial page.
