Newly updated July 4th, 2014|
Starting today 7/4/14 I will not be posting obituaries on any memorials I create. I will simply post a link to the website or report which paper the obituary is in. The same goes for photographs. I have always posted photos of those memorialized however as I know it is against Find A Grave policy, I will no longer do that.
With that being said, I want to vent just a little. If someone has not passed away, please DO NOT create a memorial on this site. I don't care if they already have a stone or not. It is in bad taste. Honestly, when I take a photograph of a double stone, I crop out the individual who is still alive. You should do the same.
As far as myse, most of my recent ancestors are from the Mound City / Pulaski County area in Illinois, the St. Louis Missouri area (and further south) near Mississippi Co. Missouri. That is the areas where the Atkinson's are mostly from.
The Weber side of my family are from the Illinois area also, however I have recently traced my great-great-great grandparents back to Alsace-Lorraine which is very exciting, however making it complicated to get further back.
Along with the Atkinsons and Weber (aka Webber's), other surnames include Shelly, Crittendon, and Bunch.

Hi! Thanks for your quick work.
Wm's mother was buried: Mary A.Bruckerhoff;
I think her name was Mary Anna Elizabeth (Engemann) Bruckerhoff...I have her birth as May 2, 1886, but this date on the memorial or tombstone will be okay.
Birth: Apr. 27, 1886
Death: Jan. 14, 1926
Note: w/o John
Mount Hope Cemetery
Plot: Row 53, Stone 28
That's what FindAGrave has for her.
Thanks for working on this memorial. Yes, I will be happy to have Willie's memorial transferred to my care.

Thanks for getting back. I suppose Malik's memorial hasn't been accepted as Famous as it is not presented in accordance with the requested standards. Try to compile a new biography for him in one paragraph using your own words and have it resubmitted again. If I can be of help, do not hesitate to get back to me.

John, thank you so much for the newspaper article for Marshall Davis, it is added to his memorial. It's so sad, but it is his history, and Marshall Davis should be remembered for his sacrifice. Thank you again, Sue

Very interesting, I would like to know too. Barbra Streisand has a findagrave memorial and she is alive and well. If the earlier memorial is against Findagrave rules then I think they may be bending the rules abit in their favor for Barbra Streisand. Please let me know what Findagrave decides to do.
See Barbra's memorial below.

Holly's death date was an educated guess

Thank you for your post. I checked for other memorials and did not find any. I hesitated for several hours before decicing to add the memorial, but I knew it would be just a matter of time before someone would. I grew up in Holladay not far from where she was found, I know the Bobo family and know the Adams family also. It would have bothered me for just a randon person to add Holly's memorial.

Please find that there is already a memorial page for Bob #27313774 and you have created a duplicate. He is my sister-in-laws brother.
