Bio and Links
Bio Photo Between genealogy and documenting Civil War Veteran's burial sites, I have always spent a lot of time and enjoyed shooting pictures in cemeteries. Find a Grave is a great site!

In genealogy, I am mostly researching; BREWER, COOLEY, GLOSSER, FRITTS, PLUMMER, KELLOGG, SEDGWICK, CARRICO, FAUNCE, BEALS, TIPSWORD, NICOLLS and ELSTUN/ELSTON surnames.

If you want any larger (uncompressed) copies of the pictures I have taken, please just ask and I will be happy to send them to you.

permission to use photo of James Dobson grave
I am working on a summary of pension records of Civil War soldiers for free viewing on www.illinoisancestors.org/fulton. May I use your photo of the gravestone for James Dobson for this project? I will give you photo credit. Thank you. Janet Turnbull

Nancy Emily Williams Peterson
Thank you so much for creating the memorial and posting a photo of Nancy's grave!! She was my GG aunt. Her brother Jease Green Williams was my GG grandfather. I was thrilled to find her grave ( along with her son's) because this part of my family has been somewhat difficult to track down. It's obvious to me that someone, presumably related, has purchased gravestones for James Ross Peterson and his mother Nancy E Peterson. ( she died in 1917 and this looks newer ). I am always looking for living family members that know this history. Is there anyway you could either transfer maintenance of the memorial to me OR simply post my Find A Grave user number/name and indicate I'm looking for relatives of Nancy?

Again, I appreciate your hard work!! I wouldn't have found her if not for you! :)

Nancy E Peterson
Doyle, thank you for posting the picture of Nancy's grave!! It was a thrill to find her finally. She actually raised my GG grandmother Nancy Elizabeth Williams Dycus. Nancy Emily Peterson was my GGG Aunt. Someone must have bought new gravestones for her ( and her son James R Peterson and his wife Maggie Della Thaxton Peterson).

William McMorris
William McMorris and Lucretia Brewer were my great-great grandparents.Elva McMorris was my great grandfather. I have had difficulty finding anything about his parents other than their names were James McMorris and Mary Carnes. I am stuck there. I was wondering if you knew anything about them. I have more info on her side. Thank you.
