Bio and Links
Bio Photo The descendants of the old settlers, those who cleared the land and first upturned the wild sod to the sun, should see that the doings of those early years are fittingly remembered and recorded.
It was once remarked by a great writer that those who take no interest in the deeds of their ancestors are not likely to do anything worthy to be remembered by their descendants.

Please leave flowers or memorials on my memorials, I believe everyone deserves flowers, and I have a great family. Thank you in advance.
A BIG thank you to those who send histories, death notices, obits and links to add to the memorials. They are wonderful additions.
You may use my pictures and information for your family trees but I do like credit. This is all put on findagrave for your family trees because so many people have helped me with mine. Thank you.

Please read Find A Grave's Transfer Requirements before requesting a transfer "THE FIND A GRAVE GUIDELINES FOR TRANSFERRING MEMORIALS ARE: Spouses, Parents, Brothers and Sisters, Children, Grand-children, Grandparents, and Great-grandparents. Please use the "EDIT" tab to ask for a transfer BUT PLEASE do no ask for a transfer that is not within these guidelines and PLEASE STATE YOUR RELATIONSHIP TO THE DECEASED.
Putting requests on this site you will be ignored, and erased. Ignorance is not bliss it is just embarrassing for you.

For extended family members you can add
Virtual Cemeteries as we have done.

PLEASE USE the "EDIT" TAB ON THE UPPER RIGHT SIDE OF THE MEMORIAL TO SEND CORRECTIONS AND REQUESTS FOR TRANSFERS. Will gladly add any obits and will add links to family members. "

Your tombstone stands among the rest;
Neglected and alone.
The name and date are chiseled out On polished, marble stone.
It reaches out to all who care It is too late to mourn.

You did not know that I exist You died and I was born.
Yet each of us are cells of you In flesh, in blood, in bone.
Our heart contracts and beat a pulse Entirely not our own.

Dear Ancestor, the place you filled One hundred years ago Spreads out among the ones you left Who would have loved you so.I wonder if you lived and loved,I wonder if you knew That someday I would find this spot, And come to visit you.

Eileen (Martin) Kocherhans
WALL, Holy Cross Cem
I should correct myself to include her name as
Margaret/Marguerite as they are both used.

And, the Delta County genealogy site is another place where the death month is listed as "May".

This is an exciting and yet frustrating hobby...

Kind Regards,
Eileen Martin Kocherhans

Just an FYI,
Re: Marguerite Hanora WALL
b. 10 Oct 1903

d. is 10 JULY 1910 (instead of MAY as stated.)

She is my Grandmother's little sister.

I found a real copy of her death record on a website called "Seeking Michigan"

Edwin Hamilton
Edwin Hamilton #86216752 is actually buried in Arlington National Cemetery #49196595. The Mountain View Cemetery has no record of Edwin in their cemetery. What is the source for your memorial for him?

Anton J Phillips #47991642
You have added information regarding his military service. However, this is a man aged 97 at death, so military information does not seem correct. Anton served in World War II. Could you please confirm that my relative is actually buried in this cemetery? Thank you.
