Bio and Links
Bio Photo I enjoy doing Genealogy, and always seaching for any and all relations of our families. I started doing this about 12-14 years ago and have enjoyed every minute of it, meeting new relatives, and visiting many of the cemeteries of East Texas. I joined Find a grave about 7 years ago, and it has been a tremendious help in my family searches.

Allen Franklin Barber
I have be tracing my Barber family, the family of Allen Barber, since 1973. I can tell you that all the barbers that were in South Carolina, Georgia, and North Carolina were not all related. DNA proves that they were different families.

That does not answer my question. Where did you come up with the middle name of Franklin for Allen?

Where did you get the middle name of Franklin for Allen Franklin Barber?

I know that his son was Allen F Barber, but I have never seen a middle initial for Allen Barber, born 1801, died 1869, Polk County, Georgia.

Thank you so much for the transfer Bonnie! I now have husband and wife even though they are in different cemeteries. My goal is to write short bios for each memorial. Volunteers have made genealogy and family history so much easier and interesting. Again, appreciate all your time and effort in helping others.

Bonnie, in case you were wondering about this girl, I had also sent you an SAC msg (did you get it?) that explains her parents, etc. In the photo, those are her grandparents who she shares a marker with.

Suber Connection
Hi Bonnie. I am new to this site and noticed that you left electronic flowers at different times for a number of my relatives in Union Grove Cemetery near Troup, TX. Is this a sign we are related? Jasper & Mattie Suber, George and Eula Suber, Arthur & Lora Suber Patterson, and Clara Louise Patterson Grolemund are GG grandparents, G grandparents, grand parents and mother. Let me know.
