 | RE: No-Name Cooley Hi Jim, This may be my 2nd Great Grandmother Catherine Vance Milligan Cooley, she is my McCurley/Milligan lineage, Catherine Vance married Henry Johnson Milligan. When he died she married James "Jim" Cooley in Cullman County, Alabama he died in 1886. She moved with her Milligan family to Groesbeck, Limestone, Tx 10 Dec 1894. In her 2 May 1931 application for Confederate Pension she is still going by the name of Catherine Cooley. She passed on 18 Jul 1933 and her death certificate shows her burial at Bennett Cemetery Limestone County, Tx. From my research the Bennett LeNoir Cemetery seems to be the only Bennett Cemetery in Limestone. When I found the No Name Cooley with the note: "Grandmother" I am hoping this may be Catherine. I am currently researching the other names that you have for the cemetery to see if there are any relative connections. Her son-in-law Robert M Raga was the informant on her death certificate. KINDest regards, Nancy McCurley HickmanAdded by NHickman on May 18, 2013 12:07 PM | | | busyone55@insightbb.com

 | RE: Robert Tekell Thanks for getting back to me. I'm sure you will get it sorted out, will leave you to it. You clearly took the time and trouble to get the details right--what a lucky break for a researcher looking for that family.
I am sorry to hear your wife is unwell, sounds like she is on the mend. Hope her recovery is swift and complete.
Remember to take care of yourself too.
best,

 | RE: Adamson, Mexia Cem. James: I have been intrigued by your witching, which I am convinced works for some people. I actually haven't tried it myself yet. Just waiting for the perfect opportunity. I definitely will let you know. Thank you again for finding Aunt Mae. It means more than you could possibly know to our family. -Dianne | | | Genevieve
 | Carlos Val Smith. Carlos Val Smith. There is a Jr and Sr. Yes you are right. I don't know where that number came from. Thanks for the attention you pay to your accounts. | | | Yale St. Clair
 | RE: Corley in Mexia Cem Hi James,
Feel free to post that. Did you happen to find William Memory Corley's marker though? He will be next or attached to the marker for Ella Lee (Black) Corley.

 | Pauline Wilson Hitt Just wanted to say many thanks for the photos. I have been trying to do the same for people here in Irving, because I know how much a photo can mean to the right people.
Pauline was my wife's great aunt. She and her cousin were just discussing their aunt and uncle Buddy last week.Added by BLewis on May 07, 2013 12:20 AM | | | Shonneen Goldtrap
 | RE: Frank Goldtrap, Mexia Cem No I think what you did is okay with me. I have tried to find away to reach his granddaughter but have been unsuccessful at this point. I will continue to try. He had a little bit of a shady past and I know was divorced at the time of his death. I would assume that he may not have been claimed by any family member. I tried to read the name of the mortuary that handled the body but could not make it out. That is where I would have tried to find him in their records. | | | | [View all messages...] |
