I went to the Sardis Baptist church cemetery in berlin ga. Twice to find the grave site of Francis Pope and George Sapp as was published on find a grave. With your name attached to it; We could not find either grave, I contacted a Mr. Homer Eldridge who has the records for the grave sites; We says he cannot find any record for George Sapp Or Fannie Pope in the cemetery records, He also Requested That I send you an email, So he could get his records straight; his email address is email@example.com;;Is it a possibility hat the graves are in another Sardis church cemetery in the county' I started looking before I found your records,,
I found the death certificate for Myrtle. Would you like for me to post it as a photo?
I did not want to add it without your permission.
I have been able to tie together all the Devers at Paradise Cemetery with the exception of little baby Betty Lou Devers # 57457673. I wonder if she may have been the child of Myrtle and James E. Devers (my great uncle). He remarried after Myrtle passed and is buried in Smithville Memoial Cemetery. Another possibilty could be John P. Devers and wife Minnie.
I will try to search more but there may not be a record. Itís sad not to have a Mom and Dad listed.

Thank you! It is a process! My biggest regret in regard to family information is that I did not pay closer attention and did not ask more questions. I know so many of the names from my Mom and Auntie and even many photos, but at times it is difficult to continue on with the children. I believe most, if not all of the Devers at the Paradise Cemetery are the John P. Devers family, but I need to continue my research before I link them.
Thank you for your dedication to the site!

Hi again. Are you related to the Vickers family? George was my greatgrandfather. I am looking for his daughter Irene's grave but not sure of her married name. Her husband was Roscoe. I am rather sure they lived in Brevard county but not 100%. Thanks

I have sponsored John's memorial as I have much of the family. I have also added photos.
John was brother to my maternal grandmother and I manage most of that part of my family.
I am requesting transfer just to keep them all together.
If you do transfer, it would be with the understanding if any my family members closer to him requested transfer, I would do so.
Thank you for creating his memorial!
