I am originally from Hartsville, Darlington, Florence area of South Carolina. I am related to the Watkins, Williams, Browns, Parnells, Kelleys , Kellys, McDonalds, and many many more. This is a great site for building family history to pass on to our children and grand children. God Bless and have a glorious day!|
King James Version (KJV)
And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
My Brother: Dantzler W. Watkins
P.S. Please take a moment to visit the memorial for Morgan Thompson . We went to High School together. Morgan had been living in the Boy's Home for a number of years. He haid been talking for a couple of years about joining the Army as soon as he was old enough so he could get out of the Boy's Home. He joined the Army and came by school to show us his uniform. He had a smile from ear to ear! I will never forget how proud he looked in his dress uniform. He had just completed basic training and was on his way to Vietnam. A few short months later we got word that Morgan had been killed in combat. God bless you Morgan. You made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Freedom is not free. Through the sacrifices of many thousands of men and women like Morgan we have freedom. He was only 18! Cherish this freedom and never let it be taken away.

Thank you so much
|Medora Johnson||RE: John Johnson|
Thank you for the transfer. About the Johnson! This line was originally from Finland and they were Jaakko and Brita M. Tiokka. John's parents legally changed their names in 1929 to Johnson and became naturalized citizens. I guess they wanted to fit in in America so they chose a common name. Their sons Jack and John were given the Johnson surname at birth, because they chose it. MFJJ

Thank you for posting Celia Brugh. Her husband was a half-brother of my great grandfather. I have more information on her if you could e-mail me. I would be glad to provide it. Thanks again.

|sagrelto||RE: Jesse and Edwena E. Williams|
My grandfather Jesse Lee Williams was married to Lily Hyacinth Davis and Belle S ??? (I forget at the moment - it is in Ancestry). So I do not know anything about Jesse and Edwena E. Williams.
Thank you for your effort.
