Thanks. It's always disappointing to me when there is no marker on a grave. Kind of sad. I know they cost a bit of money and maybe some families cannot afford the cost, esp. after funeral expenses. But some cemeteries offer a small, in grown vase, at least, with the person's name on it....something to mark the spot, instead of nothing. Oh well.

Perry, thank you so much for fulfilling my photo requests for the Frassinelli graves at St. Edward cemetery! Most of my family is in Tennessee, so it is unlikely that any of us will visit CT in the near future. I know my dad will appreciate this too, as they are his relatives. I really can't thank you enough! Have a great day!!

The connection to Anne Kowalyshyn was made from the other direction. I can't remove it. But I will make a note in the bio.

|Jayne Beers||RE: William Cook|
"Thank you for the additional information on William Cook, buried in Cook Cemetery, Williamsburg, In. I am interested in where you came across this second family of William's, and was it his first marriage. This cemetery is quite deep in the woods on the property of a friend who showed us the cemetery on a visit almost 3 years ago. Any other info will be apprenticed."
You're welcome. I have several sources that mention Rebecca Green as the wife of William Cook and my great aunt had a photo album that contained photos of some of William & Rebecca's children. My line descends from his marriage to Esther Denton. William is my GGGG-grandfather. My great-grandparents lived near the cemetery and I visited it for the first time about 20 years ago, when a cousin (unknown to me at the time) from Montpelier, IN had been working on her DAR certification and discovered that William was buried in the Cook Cemetery. She contacted a couple of people in Wayne County about making sure that his grave was marked with a Revolutionary War marker. This was in the newspaper and we got in contact and made arrangements to visit the cemetery together.
The main source for this that I have is a DAR account and certification document.

Thank you for the great pictures of Frank's stone. It just seems like yesterday that I worked with him back in 1972-1977. He was fun to work with.
i think your assumption was spot on Perry...
I had hosted an Find A Grave member from Georgia, looking for family roots both there , in Sheffield, and in Suffield CT. She stayed with us for a week. We asked a local who happened by, the cemetery name and fear we were misled. i wonder how many other memorials are dups too? will have to check it out. thanks to you , and whomever alerted you, for picking up on this!
