This site has been such a great help in my family research. I have added my family info in hopes that it may help others. I am researching the following families: Strouhal and McClendon settled in Texas and the Newcity(Villeneuve), Twombly, Kidder, Grow, Brown families settled in the northeast in Vermont, NH, Mass, Ohio etc. Also researching the White family (Miss.) from my Uncle James L White. Let me know if you see anything that needs correcting or if you have additional info. Have a nice day.... | |

 | Ruth McDuffee Brown Hi Susan
I'm so glad you found Ruth's page. I've been working at getting the older stones in that cemetery photographed. As you can see, the elements have taken a toll.
Photo credit should read: "Picture was taken by Find A Grave contributor #47536069 and is used here with permission."
Thanks so much for being in touch!

 | RE: Oliver L Kidder Memorial 106014391 You will probably laugh, but when my wife and I entered this cemetery, we sectioned it off to look for the stone, and believe it or not, it was the very last stone we looked at. It was a 45 mile round trip for us, and the wind was really blowing, but I really enjoy it when we find something someone else is looking for. For what it's worth, there were stones to the left and right that appear to be of the same family... Regards Jack Parry | | | Sharon Rogers O'Neill
 | Joel Stimson #46117735 I have linked Joel to his parents as you requested. And yes, you have my permission to use my photographs of his marker. I'm sorry they are not more legible. I no longer live near that cemetery but if I do get up there again I'll make a note to try for something better.

 | RE: Thomas Grow #92814235 Thank you Susan, I love reading about people, even when they're not my ancestors. So hunting around on Google maps for where I think Thomas lived, given the description in "John Grow of Ipswich" was a lot of fun. And I put the Grow cemetery on my list of cemeteries to take a look at (in the spring.) ASBAdded by ASB on Feb 22, 2013 9:28 AM | | | ASB
 | Thomas Grow # 92814235 I've been unable to find any sources (other than death place) for the information you would like me to add to this memorial. Do you have a source or sources? Thank you ASBAdded by ASB on Feb 21, 2013 9:27 PM | | | JPW
 | RE: Strouhal - Ganado Cemetery Yes - there are 2 other cemeteries in Ganado. This one is the basically old Africa American cemetery. If they were not African American, I will look at the other 2 cemeteries when I am back in Ganado.Added by JPW on Jan 23, 2013 5:07 PM | | | | [View all messages...] |
