Bio and Links
Bio Photo After 30 years teaching in the classrooms of Texas public schools I retired at the end of May, 2005. I am fascinated by genealogy, and I spend quite a lot of time doing family research. I am now Director of Nancy Nail Memorial Library in Mart, TX. My husband and I have been married 34 years. I have a wonderful son and two great step-sons, two daughters-in-law and 8 grandchildren: 1 grandson and 7 granddaughters.

After my Daddy passed away in 2009, I was elected to serve in his place on the board of directors of the Prairie Hill Cemetery Association, Limestone County, Texas. My husband is the president of the Kirk Cemetery Association, Limestone County, Texas.

Photo Request for David Owen
I was notified of your photo request through Find A Grave. I literally live right across the street from Saint Matthew Cemetery. I will try to fulfill your request either tomorrow or Wednesday.

Richard Hays - Cave Hill Nat.
Did Richard fight for the CSA, by any chance? CH National doesn't have him in their database, but there is a Richard Hays in an adjacent Confederate area in Cave Hill, not Cave Hill Nat.

RE: Bethel Cemetery
My husband grew up in the neighborhood. He knew the name from others in the neighborhood that came considerably later.

RE: Oak Ridge Cemetery
Hi Pat, you are very welcome! My husband and I decided to try and get some requests at this large cemetery. We are just doing a section at a time. This was our second Saturday there. This stone was resting under a bush. Best Wishes, Connie and Wayne

Lydia Brown
Catherine Robinson grave
Hi, I went over to the Wilson-Robinson cemetery today. It is literally in the middle of a farm. Luckily I know the person that runs the farm so he let me in. It is very overgrown and I only saw 2 tombstones for Robinson's. He had mentioned that he was going to have it cleaned up so when he does, I may go over and help and we may find other tombstones. There are a lot of markers in there without any writing on them. Not sure if there was writing or not but I took a brush with me and could not see any thing that looked like letters. Hopefully we will find something soon.

Oops! I'll fix it on my computer. For some reason when I post photos from my phone it tends to turn them upside down! So weird!
