| Bio and Links | George discovered this site during Memorial Day Weekend, when we were going to Ft. Snelling to visit my dad and uncle who are buried there. Steve Edquist had taken photos at the cemetery and made Memorials for them. I also had a friend that mentioned she was doing this.
We decided this was a service we would enjoy doing to help others and also enjoy the "investigation" part of finding each person (we are former law enforcement). Along the way, we have discovered we really enjoy the process--and we learn so much about each community where the cemeteries are--familial names, interests of the deceased...and sadly, many infants and children. We have twin boys and they help us occassionally, and the child sites are special to them as well.
Veterans will always hold a special place...there are so many. A silent prayer of thanks is given to each one. George is an ARMY Veteran, as is my daughter and her husband is currently serving in Afghanistan, with the 82nd Airborne. | |

Thank you for the photo of Antona's grave marker! She was my great grandmother and she also taught my grandmother how to make lefse back in the day on a wood stove.

Thank you very much for posting the pictures and memorials for the Auseng family. Especially for Oscar Auseng as I had no idea where he was buried, he also had a sister that I haven't found yet, I made a memorial for her as "Unknown". Wow. How exciting. I remember my Uncle Stanley and Mabel. I'm familiar with some of the other Kahl's. There wer two very different non related families in the same town of Dallas with the same last name, so some of them may not be my Kahl family, but I'm going to investigate. I wish so much I could be there. I visited when I was much younger. It is a very tiny cemetary. We have other relatives there too. Rasbach's. Thanks so much | | | TallulahM
