Thoughts of my loved ones are my reminders that they too think of and watch over me.|
My passion at find-a-grave is reuniting children with their parents and siblings. For so many years and miles their names have been separated and unconnected.
I appreciate every photo taken for me and will do the same for anyone that I can. I also equally appreciate the transfers of management and will transfer to families of those I am not connected to also.
My permission is hereby granted to anyone who wants to download, copy, or use any photos that I have posted on the Find-A-Grave website.
I sincerely hope that I have helped others make the connections that they have been trying to make.
Virtual flowers are appreciated.

|Laura||RE: Edith Higgins Edit|
I totally understand your sentiments! I "got in trouble" once because I approved an edit request with no documentation to support the "facts". Someone actually complained to Find A Grave!! So Find A Grave suggested that I request documentation be posted to support the edits I approve so I won't have any more problems. :(
Kinda sucks but I guess they have a point. Someone on Find A Grave once said "Genealogy without documentation is mythology". Thanks for understanding.

Tammie did not use her married name. Her obit., all notices, and her friends at work knew her by her maiden name...

|Laura||Edith Higgins Edit|
Hi - I received and edit request to change Edith's maiden name to Farlow but I didn't see a birth certificate or any proof posted on her memorial. I had to research it myself but I came up with some different information. I found a record of her marrying Edwin in New York, but the document lists her maiden name as Farber. I might be looking at the wrong information though? Can you post supporting documentation for the last name of Farlow so I can approve your edit. Thanks so much for the additional info! I love having as much information as possible.

Because I am still working on finding obits for all the burials in the Nora Cemetery I will not be transferring any of the Stuck memorials to you. However, you can send me edits, links &/or obits to add to their memorials through the Edit tab on each of their memorials. Happy Hunting!!!!

My guess is since the records were created (presumably) soon after Laurence's death -- they were more accurate than his wife's 20 years after his death.
Thanks a bunch.

Thank you so much for getting the pictures of the graves (at my request). They mean a lot.
One last question: Re Laurence Maguire -- FindAGrave indicates he was born in Ireland. That is my guess also -- but a 1944 oral history of his wife (born in England) indicates that his parents were born in England, but he was born in NYC.
Where did you get the info re born in Ireland?

I too love linking children to their parents. As I develop my family tree, I quite often find ancestors on Find A Grave and whenever I see a relationship link that can be performed, I always request it. The Memorials for infants and young children always touch my heart and linking their Memorials to their parents' Memorials is a way of keeping them together, a togetherness that was denied them in life.

Thank you so much for linking this sweet little infant to his parents Fielden Thomas Meadows and Nancy A Meadows.
Thanks so much for the information on his wife.

Thank you for the edits on some of the Castelli memorials in the Italian Cemetery. I had a few minutes to look up some info on some of the others. I appreciate all the help I can get.
Best wishes :)
