I WOULD BE HAPPY TO TRANSFER ANY NON-RELATED MEMORIALS.

I started researching my husband's family after years of searching for my own ancestors when I found Find A Grave. Behold, I found many of my husband's family. I was not as successful in locating my own family. I eventually came in possession of an extensive family tree on my mother's side. I then knew I had to place my family on Find A Grave.

It has been exciting finding information, but it has been more wonderful creating memorials for the family I knew and loved.

I realized I've always had a passion for family history. One of my favorite memories was sitting around the table at family gatherings listening to all the stories. I was fortunate enough to have known my great-grandmother and was always especially fond of her tales of life in Ireland.

I have been on the trail of my Mother's family in Ireland, Germany, Baltimore, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and Richmond, Virginia, and Delaware.

My Father's family traces to Ireland, England, Germany, Switzerland, New York City, New Jersey and Baltimore, Maryland.

My husband's family traces to England, France, Maryland, Kentucky, Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina and Florida.

I would like to thank my relative Charlotte Elizabeth Trainum Stewart for her tireless effort in producing our family history. To my Late cousin George William Larkins for keeping my interest in cemeteries and foreign lands alive with his wonderful stories.

This is dedicated to my Mother, Kathleen Louise Michaelis Rapp, who was the first person I added, she taught me the importance of love of family. I could not have asked for a more loving, compassionate and devoted mother.

Memorial #40037889 Markwordt
Hi Kathy,
Could you tell me how you came to post the photo of the headstone for Henry C. Markwordt, memorial 40037889 done 29 July 2009? Was there a request or are you family?

He is my husband's uncle and I've been trying to trace their family tree but always hit a brick wall after his great grandparents. My tree is on ancestry.com under the name, Wagner/Kramer. Thought maybe your contacts/info might help solve this mystery.
THANKS,
Barbara Kramer Markwordt

RE: Carrie Luebben
Hi Again Kathy,

I assume "I sent along..." means you approved the updates I requested. If so, thank you very much.

Because you created and manage the memorials for Carrie and her husband Jacob Luebben, you might want to create the memorial for Jacob's 1st wife, the mother of his first two children. The Baltimore Sun printed her death/funeral notice on 20 Nov 1928. I have a copy of that notice. Here's a transcript:

LUEBBEN -- On November 17, 1928, MARY T. LUEBBEN (nee McKenney), the beloved wife of Jacob C. Luebben.
Funeral from her late residence, 801 South Lakewood avenue, on Thursday at 1:30 P. M. Services at the Patterson Park Baptist Church, Eastern avenue and Robinson street, at 2 P. M. Interment in Oak Lawn Cemetery.

John
